If you arent an art major dont take this class or probably any class with gary. He expects you to know everything about art and only accepts things as art if he sees it that way. He never taught, just played a youtube video once a day and that was it. He would show up late and didnt even show up at all twice without emailing. Horrible class and guy

One of the worst professors that I have ever had for an online class. He loads you up every week with 4 posts and one paper. The problem is no matter how many posts and comments you respond with, you can never earn an A+. It is impossible to satisfy this teacher. IF you take this class, take it because you are an art major. Maybe you'll have fun.

One of the only teachers I do not get along with..he has a hard time seeing other peoples perspectives on things and honestly has the worst attitude in the world. If you don't agree with what he says then he will make it a point to be nasty to you. He likes to humiliate other students in-front of the class and finds being sarcastic funny.

Show up, offer opinions, and hand in stuff on time. Gary's great so long as you just show up and at least try. Its an easy class and you are graded on skills you are learning and developing, not on artistic ability.
