One of my favorite teachers Ive ever had in my life. Very personable and funny. Gives good constructive criticism. Id recommend him to everyone, but especially if youre a writer, hes very inspiring. Love him.

My favorite professor. He is a tough grader but even if you're not a good writer, its okay. He is so nice and will help you with anything. He also makes an effort to remember everyone's name and make sure they aren't confused on anything.

Absolutely loved prof. Smith! He really seems tp care about his students. You write all journals and essays in class and he corrects them for you before you tun them in. He is really awesome

Very funny, tends to make my day better. For those saying he has unclear corrections.... all you have to is ask and hell tell you. Tough grader, but WILL make you a better writer

I love Prof Smith!!!!! He's so fun and lively, even at 8am in the morning when his students are groggy. He's really cares about his students and wants the best for them. If you go to class and put effort into your papers then you should make an A. I'm an accounting major that steers away from reading/writing papers but I loved this class!!

He is really interesting and makes the classroom a fun place to be in. He lets you go early if you get your work done. His lectures aren't too heavy, but his quizzes focus on detail. He will help you with your writing if you give an effort.

He's one of the best English teachers I've had. You write papers in class and hardly ever do anything outside of the class. Also, you can send him a rough draft, and he'll edit it for you. The one thing he really grades hard on is grammar. He's kind of funny, too!

I loved having Prof. Smith! He is such a cool dude. He assigns papers in class and never makes you write outside of class. If you get done with your assignments for the day, you can leave. He also lets you turn in a rough draft before the final paper. He's super picky on grammar though. I would definitely take him again!

Very funny and personable guy, he only grades tough on the certain criteria he makes clear he wants in his papers. If you want a B or an A take him and follow his criteria exactly. Read the stories closely and possibly get bonus on the quizzes. He also personally edits your paper once or twice before you turn it in. I would take him again.

Comment:

Professor Smith is a great teacher and guy. He reviews your essays and research paper multiple times before you turn them in and is very helpful if you ask him questions. He's very personable and knows everyone in the class by name. He's also pretty funny! I would totally take him again.

Great professor, even if you're a terrible writer. He proof-reads your rough drafts 2-3 times before the final paper is due. The quizzes are fairly easy as long as you actually read the text book. One con, we only choose depressing, dark stories to read and write about. Other than that, hes great and helpful.

Mr. Smith is an amazing professor. While in his class, you can't help but be interested in the material. The class is not hard if you spend the time to write a clear paper. He always lets class out earlier than normal. He is a great man to talk to. He is always there to help. I am definitely going to take him again for 102.
