took online and it was soooo easy. all quizzes are on quizlet, so is midterm and final. discussions are easy. term paper is kinda sucky but an easy A overall. every assignment is available on the first day so thats pretty cool.

Comment:

The one nice thing about this class is that once the semester starts, all assignments are opened. Therefore, you can completely finish the class anytime. The only hassle was a minimum seven paged paper with 1.5 spacing with ten scholarly sources. As long as you work ahead, you should be just fine.

Comment:

He is extremely short and rude with absolutely no feedback. The way he portrays himself, simply through emails, is terrible and uncaring. Do not take any of his classes. His messages constantly come off aggressive and he doesnt even bother to write you out a full sentence for a reply. TERRIBLE.

Comment:

I took this class online and he made it very easy to see exactly what was coming up. The main page of the online class is every single date that everything is due. There is a research paper that is 7 pages long due towards the end of the semester and a lot of quizzes to make up the grade. I enjoyed the class as a whole!

I took this course online and the first day everything is opened up except for the midterm and final. There is one research paper due a little before the end of the semester, but it is not hard if you take the time to complete it. The only thing I didn't like was that quizzes and discussions were due at 2 pm. Other than that, I really enjoyed it.

This class was very easy. On the first day all the learning units with quizzes and discussion board is opened so you can get ahead very easy. The only two things that aren't open are the midterm and final. There is a research paper due towards the end of the class. I did not try hard at all I just cited every single thing I wrote and got a 97 on it

I have had Dr. Ezell for 3 classes, all online. He does give a LOT of work and things are due at a silly time (2pm) HOWEVER, they are SELF-PACED! You can get as far ahead as you want except the mid term and final. The lectures are boring and he does say "uh" a lot but his grading and what is expected is very clear.

Only 2 tests in this class, amt of quizzeshomework is ridiculous. If you cannot make this class the priority of your life, do not take it. There is NO respect for anyone's work schedule- due at 2 p.m. daily-must work ahead if u have 1st shift job. APA paper, too long for subject matter. Punishes all if anyone looks guilty of cheating. u WILL work

This is the worst class I have taken here. He is one of the most unhelpful professors I have come across. The professor treats this class as if it's the single most important thing in the world. The time commitment is demanding, and there is no way around it. He is constantly punishing students due to his irrational paranoia that we're all cheating

He has absolutely no respect for his students. He treats you like you are stupid when you ask him a question. He punishes his innocent students for other students wrong doings. Final and midterm are 100 questions. On the midterm we got 2 hours but because he suspects cheating we only have 75 min to take the final... AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

This class is not quite up to par. I feel like he makes a ridiculous amount of grammatical errors in his slides and quizzes, and then almost treats his students like they're less than him when they question ANYTHING! Not good at lecturing! He just reads the slides and says "uhhh" a lot. BORING!!!

This instructor gives quizzes where you are unable to go back to previous items and gives no feedback to which items you missed. You never see your quizzes returned therefore you cannot use them to study for midterm and final. You will definitely need the book because he is the author and that's all he uses.

This guy is the worst professor I have ever had. I am a senior at UTC and have taken him numerous times and each class has been bad. It is not that his classes are hard but they are a lot of work and he is just not a good person. I find it very hard to believe he writes Christian music. He was also my advisor and almost really messed me up.

Dr. Ezell is awesome! His classes are difficult, and they require a lot of work, but they are very interesting. His online courses are clear and easy to understand. He is very helpful and will help you in anyway he can. Be prepared to work, but Dr. E is for sure one of the best professors at UTC.

Dr. E is the best teacher I have had during the course of my entire college career! I wish he taught all of the HHP classes! He really cares about his students. He is good about helping those that want to help themselves. Don't slack in his class and you'll be on his good side. Can't say enough good about Dr. E...awesome person and professor!

Great Professor. He was very helpful and fun in class. The HHP456 was probably one of the most challenging I've taken, but having Dr.E have a professor made life easier. Ask questions, so your work, don't be a slacker. I don't think he likes slackers much. ;-) Go to class ON TIME, and you'll do just fine. I <3 Dr. E

Mr. Ezell was an awesome teacher! His class is fun and he has a great sense of humor. I enjoyed going to his class everyday. He dresses so professional and makes learning fun. Instructors could learn a lot from this man.
