Mr Majors is an excellent math instructor. He provides a lot of good lectures when I took his class in the afternoon. His tests are both easy and average. He gives you a lot of homework assignments, but if you do your homework, you are also studying not just for lectures, but also studying quizzes and tests. I recommend you take him in MATH 20.

Comment:

Majors is a great professor. He explains things really well and can be pretty funny. 150a is in general a difficult subject with even a great professor, you will need to study. He doesn't give much extra credit or curve tests but he does bump grades at the end of the semester. Definitely recommend. Only bad thing is he doesn't give a study guide.

Majors is the best math teacher I've had he is very clear at explaining goes over hw problems and is at the math lab to help you, very nice and helpfull proffesor. I would take him again in a heart beat he is also very funny and great personlity! class can be hard if you just sit there and dont do the hw but if u try an A is definately attainable

He is well spoken and clear. He doesn't offer quizzes in his class which is odd for remidal math. Participation means very little in this class and the only way to do well is to score high on the test. It is not a good class for someone who doesn't get math. However, if math comes easy to you it's good. It's all lecture, then the test.

Tests can be difficult, but nonetheless he is a very good lecturer and as long as you put your time in an 'A' can be achieved. Take this class if you want to actually learn which, I suggest that you do if you plan on moving onto calculus. He takes roll for the first 2/3 of the semester. Homework is collected day of the tests.

Professor Majors is awesome! He is very clear, helpful and does everything he can to help you succeed. Good teacher to take if math is not your strong subject. He will respect you if you respect him. Do not disrupt the class in any way and you'll be fine. He is really great! Take him if you can!

Mr. Majors is one of the best professors I have met. He is very caring and helpful and wants everyone to pass. He is very clean in his speech and tells great stories to keep you entertained. His class is very easy. As long as you do your work and put some effort in the class, you will receive an A for sure. I strongly recommend taking his class.

Mr. Majors is the best math professor I have ever met. He is very caring and helpful and wants everyone to succeed. His quizzes and tests are very easy. As long as you do your homework, go to office hours, and put a reasonable effort into the class, you should easily pass with an A. I strongly recommend taking his class.

Mr Majors is the absolute best math professor i've ever had. He does not make you feel stupid for asking even the obvious questions. He takes the time to show you step by step, and answers ALL questions. I wish he'd reach higher level math.

By far the best math class I've ever taken! I don't understand math AT ALL and I got As and Bs on all of the tests (with a little study time of course)! He's so easy to understand and willing to help. He's also pretty hilarious, too. There's homework almost every day but it's worth it in the end.

I love Mr. Majors. He's super-experienced because he's been teaching math for about a million years. I withdrew from Math 20 last semester with Mr. Huerta because I was not doing well and Mr. Majors has made all the difference. He keeps it simple by not showing us too many ways to do things and gives less homework than Huerta but still enough 2 lrn

majors is a cool guy. he is a pretty good teach but goes off topic to talk about the history math. its kinda funny, his sense of humor is good. he is interesting, (as much as he can be for trig) and will help u if u ask. wants u to do well. tests are medium in difficulty. i got a B but if i put more time in memorizing the unit circle... well yea.

Best teacher ever! i wish he taught math 40! Before i came to his class it was hard for me to really grasp math. Once i toke his class it was like a light bulb went off in my head. Hes an awesome teacher. hes funny and will joke with you, hes VERY clear and gos step by step. He allowed us to use a note card for our exam. EASY TEACHER TAKE HIM!!!

I got a D but that was my fault. I would highly recommend this teacher. he is VERY approachable and helpful when you have a question. he keeps it REAL and is funny. his lectures are helpful for the tests. hes an awesome teacher and I wish I asked for help sooner. you have to take him, he WANTS you to succeed and do well. GREAT guy
