Comment:

Prof. Moyal is the best professor you could wish for. He is fun, funny, and knowledgeable. I truly enjoyed his classes. He is super sweet and does his best to help students out. I highly encourage taking a class with him!

Comment:

A testament to his skill in teaching, and his ability to explain, in great depth and in terms easily understandable by all, can be summed up in his ability to explain an incredibly challenging, 30 page text of a 17th century French Philosopher. My initial understanding of the text, compared to my understanding afterward, is proof of it.

Comment:

Great professor, very soft-spoken. Recommend sitting at the front of the room to get the most out of the class- especially in logic classes where material is difficult. Really knows his stuff, and teaches it clearly. Always available for help, and if you show that you always do the homework, you are guaranteed to get a great mark! Would take again.

He speaks very low so you have to be absolutely silent in order to hear his lectures. His notes are all oral. He's very funny and is always willing to give clarifications and help out those who do not understand. Hard material, you must do the homework!

GREAT professor, very helpful, clear and fair... and kind of funny. You need to go to class (ESPECIALLY in the W-term). The Course Kit is used EVERY class in the Winter term. ALSO... DO YOUR HOMEWORK (it's sometimes tedious and annoying) but DO THEM and you'll do perfectly fine. I'd definitely take another class with him.

I absolutely LOVED this professor! He only wanted to make sure we understood. If you truly understand, then you'll pass with a very good grade. This man goes above and beyond the call of duty and it was an honor to be in his class, I recommend it to anyone. My only tip : sit at the very front of the class because he is INCREDIBILITY soft spoken.

Fun class, easy going professor. I believe it is not an easy class. I attended almost every class, and did my homework which only take 15-20' and yes, I got an A+. Very easy and interesting class if you do your homework and come to class. Excellent and easy going professor!

A great professor, who is always ready to help his students. He encourages participation in class. He listens to student's questions attentively and tries his best to answer them in a way to that we can understand him. Great proffesor! i had him in a class thought in french ; he used top notch vocabulary when he spoke, it was always a pleasure listening to the way he explained the materiel. He is confident and passionate about what he teaches and is ready to help and re-explain to students. He encourages participation so be ready to raise your hand!

Prof. Moyal us very concerned about his students understanding the material. He asks after each section of his lecture whether there are any questions. The homework can be a bit difficult, especially if you have no background in philosophy. He's nice enough to answer his e-mails in a timely manner.

Interesting and funny. Will explain concepts in simple manner to students less inclined in philosophy. Very knowledgeable.
