DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASSES. He uses a weighted grade scale that makes his class harder to get a decent grade in. If a question has 6 steps and you got 5 of 6 right but the 6th one wrong then the whole question is marked wrong. NO partial. There are better teachers here, take their classes instead. SKIP THIS DUDE

I was nervous with this being my first online math class, but Prof. Brar made the experience easy. The quizzes are nicely spaced out, and I didn't feel like there was too much info to learn for one particular quiz/exam. You get the grade you earn in his class, which is good if you take college serious. He was always very helpful and fair.

Brar's syllabus is VERY CONFUSING. It says one thing, but means another. He won't answer emails on the weekend although this class in ONLINE. He is not helpful. Do not take this class with him. If it were up to me, I would not allow him to "teach" this class.

AWFUL! He is the rudest professor I've ever met. I took his class online he didn't do anything. I took my final at the school and the system locked me out so it only graded the questions I did the testing center said he needed to re open it and he said no! he never answered emails took him 5 days to respond when my incident happened!

I took him for Math100 online. Everything was done on MyLabPlus. Clear grading criteria and deadlines with option to work at own pace. Also responded immediately anytime I reached out to him. I can't speak for others but I had no issues at all. Cool guy would take again.

The class is on MML. He told me to seek professional help and be diagnosed with a disability so I could then be granted unlimited time to complete the tests (I complained after only able to answer 4 out of 20 questions on the tests before running out of time). Quizzes and Tests count for 90% of your grade, HW 10%, yet HW takes 95% of the time.

accelerated online. financial hardships came that winter, and I was evicted from my home. He wouldn't even read my e-mails, saying he "wasn't trained in personal affairs". 4+ people in the 10 person class also missed the midterm because the website was so confusing. He didn't care at all. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. any accident and you're screwed

Took his class online. If you schedule to meet with him, he will put in the effort to help you. He even gave me points back on the midterm for typos and notion errors but correct answers. Unless you ask and meet with him, there is no partial credit. I'm good at math but the online thing didn't work out for me. He really does help if you ask nicely

Horrible teacher!!!! Not willing to helphe actually encourages you to go to tuturing. Not good with communication and his grading system is the worst. I dont understand how he still teaches at Dccc. He is the WORST teacher i ever had!

He was not helpfull at all. He was very standoffish and did not at like he wanted to be bothered. He doesnt give any credit for anything. I would not reccoment him at all!!!!!

Does NOT give any partial credit at all. I forgot to simplify one of my answers (a sq root), and he marked the entire problem wrong, even though it was 100% correct and all my other answers for the problem were correct. Do not recommend. This is not what math should be like.

I took two courses with Professor Brar, both were a challenge. He likes to move dates without notifying students (different than syllabus) he does NOT give any partial credit. He expects you to work on his schedule no matter what (I work full time.) I would not recommend taking his class and I am good at Math.

I definitely recommend him. I taught i could never be good in math, but he ecouraged me to believe in myself. If you do not like a cool teacher;then, do not take his class. He is great seriously.

I took this class online since his MAT140 class was so boring. He made everything way harder than it had to be and offered absolutely no help. He wasn't available to help at all and told you to get a tutor. The final was 60% of the grade so you had to pass or you had no chance. Definitely would NOT recommend, especially online.

I dont understand why hes even paid to be there. all he does is baby sit, he does not teach you do all the work on your own and he just grades tests, he does not give any partial credit on tests and one problem wrong is 10 points off out of 100. you also can barely understand him when talking and when you ask for help he yells

As an individual he is a nice person, but as a teacher he is very unuseful, especially his method in grading. i got a D in his class because he counts 85% of whole grade in the final exam. I re-did the same class with another teacher and got an A. i don't recommend him for no one.
