heavily lecture based. If you miss one class you'll be behind a lot. Quizzes once a week, that were difficult. Explanations were decent. Assigns 2 papers. One worth 10%, he gives 3 questions and you choose one. Second worth 25%, 6-7 pages and you choose the topic. His lectures can get quite boring. Wouldn't recommend

I came into this semester as a devote Catholic looking to expand my knowledge of the Old Testament. After his lectures and countless readings, I have decided to become an atheist. On the other hand, his lectures are bland and quizzes are hard. 10/10 would never take again

Dr. Nasuti is a great professor and an even better guy. He assigns a lot of reading, and a short quiz about once a week, but they are actually helpful in making sure you don't fall behind. The quizzes come in handy in time for the midterm and final. Other than those two exams, there are two small papers and one longer one. Not too tough. Recommend!

BEST TEACHER EVER!Dr. Nasuti is my all time favorite teacher he is so caring! I took him for my Manresa Course because I am in Loyola but I will definitely take another class with him if I have the chance! He assigns a lot of reading but you can usually get away with Sparknotes. the class was mainly discussion based but he leads it well. def take

Dr. Nasuti is a pretty chill and nice guy, but he knows what he is doing. Participate in class every now and then and show that you are really thinking about the concepts and ideas, and you will easily do fine.

Prof. Nasuti is definitely my favorite Professor so far. He is extremely caring about his students and provides helpful feedback on written assignments and presentations. The class involves a LOT of reading but it is manageable and you can definitely get away with skipping a few. As long as you participate regularly, you are guaranteed to do well.

Dr. Nasuti is a WONDERFUL professor - definitely my favorite teacher of Freshman year at Fordham. He's so funny and interesting, and he made a rather dull topic (Ancient Literature) exciting and awesome. I would definitely take a class of his again, if given the chance!

Quizzes every other class, not too many opportunities to improve your grade, and quite harsh on essays. Avoid at all costs.

Dr. Nasuti is a wonderful teacher and a wonderful man. I don't enjoy Ancient Lit that much, but he made it the best class of my Freshman year. He is just the sweetest man ever. I would take his class again and again, if I could.

This has to be the best class I have ever taken. I don't really love literature but the enthusiasm Dr. Nasuti has for his material is obvious. He guides the seminar discussion excellently. I had a great experience and will take any class this man offers.

Took for Intro to Old Testament: Honestly one of the nicest men ever. You can tell he truly loves theology and class flies by. Three essays throughout the semester (you pick when you want to write them) and pretty easy grader. I strongly recommend taking him, he doesn't force you to participate, its completely up to you if you want to talk or not.

Dr. Nasuti was probably the best teacher I've had here at FU. He was so helpful even when I had conflicts with his papers and other classes. He was so nice and so enthusiastic about the class that I absolutely loved it. He is a little hard on the papers, but if you go to him your grade will improve

Not a bad person but he is all about shock value and fluff. He later tells what he wants rather then explore the text in a way that would help the studying process. A real stickler on papers and does not like creativity. If ur creative don't take him.

The first lecture it appears that this class will be exciting b/c he's very energetic and intelligent, but so after that charm wears off and the class gets boring. All and all, great professor but heavy workload, and be prepared to drink alot of coffee.
