Would love to have her again!! She is an amazing professor, very knowledgably, very passionate, and at the same time accommodating. Test are very easy, question format (SOCI3860). If you do your portion of work, readings, and attendance, she will recognize it definitely. A must take professor without any regrets!!!

Comment:

Professor Moghissi is an excellent teacher. She is passionate about sociology and teaches it with a genuine concern for students. Does not tolerate any kind of disrespectful behaviour (cell phone usage, chatting during lecture etc). Great class!

One of the rarest no-nonsense professors @ York. Teaches with passion. She has a good understanding for the students and she listens to their problems and do the best to help them through. Anyone who wants to learn.... This is the professor one should be looking at.

great prof! really made the class and content enjoyable. Doesn't tolerate rudeness, but who does. she is really clear with how she delivers her information, and is quiet helpful for clarifications. She's got alot of real life experience as well. made the course 100 times better cuz she taught it. i would recommend her for sure.

She was a wondeful lecturer who is very intellectual. She has a short fuse and gets upset quickly (no talking in her class!) and forgot to book the powerpoint for our assignment. Overall, I enjoyed the class.
