Class is pretty straight forward. Be sure to take notes in class and do the homework, it will really help on exams! Koirala is very knowledgeable and helpful, especially if you have questions about the education program. Try to never skip class, always pay attention, and youll do great! Extra credit is offered at the end of the semester!

He will never cancel class(he brags about this)and you will most likely never get out early. Ran out of things to teach with 2 classes left and continued have class and teach nothing. Tests and quizzes are hard if you don't take notes and study but journals are easy. He has a strong accent and can be hard to understand. Really loves the subject.

Dr. Koirala is smart and sweet, however, I found this specific class to be extremely boring. I was looking forward to a math course but everything is easy review from middle school and early high school. The course is nice for someone not too great at math just looking for an easy course, but definitely don't take if you're looking to be challenged

Literally the nicest guy you will ever meet. He has a heavy accent but it's easy to get used to. Always open to answer questions and be helpful. Clear and concise lectures. Easy quizzes/ tests. Would take again.

I really was looking forward to MAT 140 being an easy A, because its GEOMETRY for crying out loud. This class is difficult if you are not good at math, & with Professor Koirala, it is much harder than it should be. He is a really sweet guy who genuinely cares, but I am often very confused and having a hard time understanding him. Wouldn't recommend

Intelligent, articulate, and reasonable to work with. However, he can be very stubborn with his opinions and may not have the interest of the student in mind on occaisons. He is not suited to being the Dept. Chair of Education. He is a professor first, in my opinion.

Very good teacher that makes math extremely easy even if you hate math and are bad at it. Very easy grader that is always willing to help you out and answer any finals you have. Class is 3 quizzes, 5 easy journals, and a midterm and final. Easiest math class take him if you need the class

Outstanding professor. No textbooks. Really takes to time to research what articles are best for teaching and hands them out to you at the beginning of the semester. Always willing to help. All classes are useful and he makes sure your voice is heard. Participation is a must.

Outstanding class. This is my second graduate degree and he is one of the best professors out there. Always has time to talk and isn't afraid to change the topic of the class if something comes up outside of his plan. Plenty of work but you learn a lot.

So nice and completely understand, hes always willing to help a student, never makes you feel stupid for asking questions and encourages them. At times he can be a little hard to understand bc of his acent but over all a really good teacher!!!
