I don't recommend taking this class online, things were much clearer when I scheduled a meeting with him. He is a sweet old man that cares deeply about special edu. Overall, the class is easy and he is flexible with deadlines.

Awesome professor. Gives extensions on assignments when requested. Usually teaches through discussion. Cares about and genuinely makes an effort to learn about each student. Education majors: Don't take anyone other than Griffin for 4010.

Sweet guy. Kind of hard to understand at first, but it gets better. Seems like a lot of work, but it's really not hard. The exams are short answer, but he grades really easily. Pretty much an A for effort class.

It's a great class and he is so understanding. The assignments and quizzes are easy. He lets you retake all of the quizzes until you are satisfied with your grade. His tests are short answer but is very lax on his grading. Great class and would definitely take him again!

If anyone hates Dr. Griffin, then they need to be shot because he is one of the best and nicest professors on campus. He might talk real soft, but just listen in. Very helpful and will email answers very quickly. Do not leave this campus without taking one of his classes!

I had Dr. Griffin for an on campus class once and he was great, but the online class I had with him was tedious. He was still nice, but he loaded us down with work to the point that I had to take shortcuts to complete everything and did not even have time to read the text, just skimmed it.

it drives me crazy that he talks so softly and i can never understand if he's lecturing or making a comment to someone. but he is very passionate about what he teaches, and his classes are easy. just be prepared to be patient with him.

Dr. Griffin is very nice. He talks softly, so you may want to sit near the front. As long as you attend class regularly, do the required reading and assignments, you should do well in the class.
