This lady is phenomenal. She's very approachable, informative, and overall really nice. She's extremely passionate about her job and it shows through her teachings. There are certain professors/counselors that you'll never want to approach or see again, but Heather is one that you'll always remember with pure gratitude.

Heather is hands down the best counselor Ive come across. She listens and gives you great feedback on when you ask her anything about college like what classes you should be signing up for, requirements to transfer, etc... Just make sure to show up because the class is once a week and type up your homework or she wont accept it!

Loved her ! she s like a mother ! She's also my counselor. Class is easy just show up and do her homework and classwork, don't be rude. She's so sweet and will help you with anything, probably the easiest class ever

I absolutely LOVE her. She's a school mother, she helps you in any way she can. She's kind but stern and knows how to get things done. If you struggling with college and how to succeed, join the TAP program, it saved me. I didn't have any idea what I was doing or what the right steps were. She genuinely cares for you and makes sure you graduate!

If you are not a TAP student, be one because she is will help you get out of FC so much faster and you will know the classes you will need for your major. She will also help you find the best way to study that actually works. She smiles all the time but she means business.

Dude if you mess this class up it your own fault. She is more than willing to help you with ANYTHING you need as long as she can see you are putting in effort. You actually learn in this class (didn't see that one coming). She is on a tight schedule so she hates when your late. Oh and she loves to be called Mrs. Halverson. not really.

Best professor you could ever have! So helpful and her main goal is to get you to succeed in college, so nice and really cares. Also, after taking her class she is the only counselor I will ever see, I only trust her. Class is super easy just do all the work and you have an A.

This class is easy. She wants you to succeed, even though her lesson plans are kind of obvious. I didn't learn much from her lesson plans, but mostly what she said in class. There are no tests, but if you want in A; then simply do your homework. Also final is take home. I think she is the best COUN101 teacher out of the rest.

Heather's a great teacher! I didn't learn much, that I already knew, but it was still a fun class. She allows a lot of group projects, and the final is take home. I definitely recommend her.
