Comment:

Dr. Noonan is an awesome teacher, he took stats and made it interesting. If you take good notes and study those notes, you will easily pass this class. The one curve ball on the final were several questions testing understanding and definition and concept, the rest simply identify and crunch numbers. Take Heinz if you must take stats.

THE BEST stats teacher you can find. Attend class everyday, take notes, study those notes,& earn an A. Great sense of humor and overall, (I can't believe I'm saying this) I liked the class. Attendance isn't mandatory but I don't see how you could pass without regular attendance!!!!

Great professor- Stats can be hard so I would recommend getting a group together. He does offer extra credit work if you have trouble on an exam. Tends to be quite funny when everyone is paying attention and understanding the material.

This teacher is one of the best teachers you can find at UAA. Very funny and smart. I could have skipped a class or two, but he kept my interest enough to want to attend each time. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Tests are easy if you do the homework and quizes. Everything is open books and open notes. Just take very good notes and you got an easy A!

The best teacher i've ever had. I will remember this guy the rest of my life. Absolutely 100% great teacher, class isn't that hard, he helps you so much it can't be. He's willing to help you at 2 am if necessary. He could teach stats to a rock, wish I could take another class with him. Best professor i've ever had.

Heinz Noonan is an excellent instructor. Holds your attention. Doesn't dwell on topic unless necessary. Makes sure students understand before he moves on. But keeps the pace fairly fast. Definitely a type A personality, makes students think and work hard. Take Stat from him if you want to be challenged and respected at the same time.

The most arrogant egotistical individual I have ever come across in a student/instructor setting. His introductory remarks included how many times he has been married. At that time he was up to seven. He demeaned students for not understanding what his lectures covered. I was not impressed.

Has an aura of attraction (applies to hot scale) but too stressed for relationships. Super intelligent, but teaches at such a fast rate that it is hard to follow.
