His class is really easy if you are lucky enough to get him. His tests are basically everything he wrote on the board. He makes concepts very simple. If you are taking econ just to get credit, then take him definitely.

Dont take him if possible. You won't learn anything, only what you yourself read from the book. He only draws graphs, but doesnt explain anything. He never understands your questions, so dont bother. He is at least 20 years behind in his world perception.Very rude, makes unpolite coments about your clothes or so.Thinks he is always right about everythi

The last reviewer and I were in the same class. His accent is difficult, the lectures are scattered. He's arrogant, thinks he's always right, but he's out of touch on current events and technology. I also doubt he reads the term paper, but I got an A on all assignments and most tests. Everyone got an A on the presentation, and some were TERRIBLE.

Comment:
Lazy. Has an unusual accent (he grew up in Africa). No hw, but he assigns a 10-12 pg paper that i doubt he reads. tests every 2 weeks. his grading style is a mystery...he does however usually use a generous curve. Class isn't difficult, but can be frustrating for students. He doesn't know how to use email, and only has office hrs at the end of clas

He moves through material very slowly, wastes a lot of time, doesn't understand student questions and gives irrelevant answers, expects more answers to test questions than he asks for, and answers his cell phone in class. You can get an A, you'll just have to work harder for it than you would with a better teacher and you won't learn very much.

If you want to get a fairly easy "A" - go for it, otherwise don't even think about it! Haven't listened to whatever he was talking about because: 1.He couldn't speak English 2.He didn't know economics 3.He went into his life stories every time when someone asked him a question more difficult than "Do you like ice-cream, little fella?" Dissapointed

English is his 3rd language- my main problem was the language barrier. Don't expect to be able to ask questions, he won't be able to understand what you're asking. He was 15-20 min late for every class, which I don't find very professional. Luckily, the class is easy - show up, read (the book was awful too though) and do your project. I got an A

If you show up, pay attention and read the book, you will have no excuse for not getting an A in this class. He grades on a VERY generous curve, and EVERYTHING he test on is in the book. The hardest part of this class is drawing pretty graphs.

He was a fairly easy teacher. No homework, Quizzes every other week (half multiple choice, half open answer) 1 midterm, 1 final, 1 group presentation, and 10page term paper. As long as you put a little effort and turn stuff in on time, he'll give u an A.

Lots of reading. But if you just take notes, talk a lot, and take it easy, he'll give you an A. Overall nice guy, a bit traditional and patriotic.
