Don't take his class he doesn't expect what he said and in the syllabus. he said he drops three lowest quizzes but he only drops one quiz. Also, he mentioned if you get F grade for final he said many times he will change to a grade D but he didn't do that. Also, a lot of mistakes during the lecture and his handwriting is very bad.

Difficult to understand material, talks a lot of story and anecdotes, doesn't explain concepts well/at all BEFORE his stories. Can be condescending with questions. Talked so much we rushed at the end, not enough time given to do term project. Didn't go over forms enough to help with term project. Might as well have been an online course.

Omg this guy is the worst. Seriously, DONT TAKE. Everyday he reminds class how much he doesn't care if you pass or fail, because he gets paid regardless. Lazy, unfocused, a sloppy instructor w/zero influential & educational skills. Good luck reading the slop on the dry erase board or making any connection between that mess & pointless ramblings

I really don't like him. I think he's a terrible professor. He admitted to the class several times that he's lazy. It obvious he would rather be somewhere else. He assigns homework and doesn't check it, because he admits he's too lazy. His math skills are poor (he has been corrected by classmates on several occasions. Try to avoid taking his class.

Leung makes no effort to present a clear introduction to Financial Accounting: his lectures are erratic ramblings, not planned, understandable lessons that introduce accounting concepts and practices. His tests are extremely difficult, many trick questions, and very few got an A. Most people dropped this class by the end of the semester. AVOID!

Writing on the board is awful! Complete mess, hard to follow, thought process is jumbled and over simplified leaves you with many questions. He doesn't even use plus and minus signs, instead uses " " ? or nothing at all which is hard to follow! Barely uses x or division signs either... All tests which is fine just study! Wouldn't reccomend!

To put it simply, this professor is hands down the worst. I failed his class. Retook this class in the summer with a different teacher and received an A (and we all know summer classes are supposed to be harder... Hmm). His quizzes are hard because he tried to trick you, his lectures are dry, and he spends half the class talking of nothing. Avoid.

He is very patient for answering your questions and helping you outsides the class. Although his voice is flat that makes you want to fall asleep sometimes, read your textbook and do the assignment before the class, and you will understand him and do well on your quizzes. His quizzes are actually straightforward. Do the homework!! It helps !!

He is very generous with time for answering your questions outside of class AND he spends time at the LAC! He tells personal stories and jokes during class. I liked being able to catch a glimpse of life as an accountant. His lectures can be confusing at times but READ your text and DO the non-mandatory homework and you'll be fine. I enjoyed it.

Not an easy course at all and don't expect to learn in class, I felt a lot of the learning was done outside by myself. I decided to skip the finals, with an INTENT on failing and he still gave me a D on purpose. Be warned.

Protect your money and time , and don"t take this class!!!! During of the Fall 2015: 78% students had to drop this class and their decision ware right! The remind amount of students had failing the last 5 tests. This person has NO TEACHING SKILLs AT ALL! He focused on failing students and not helping them! Don't be Naive as we were!!

His lectures are a very short, unrelated babble of the textbook and he does not care about his students as he, himself, said in class. Not friendly and honestly a waste of my time. His class was unorganized and he rushed everyone through everything. One of the worst teachers I've had.

Clear grading scale. He's knowledgable of acct. Sometimes may be a wreck, bit slow, uninteresting. Go to class, practice on the hw. it will only help,take ALL the quizzes, even if you have a low grade on quizzes you can catch up on the final exam. quiz n final are the same format, you can pass. He's available for help and is approachable at LAC.

Genuinely a nice, approachable teacher. Acct 1 is hard. For the semester, he asks us to do our hw before going into class. Lectures are for going over hw. Weekly quizzes that helps prepare us for the final. Though he's a little absentminded, he's very helpful to clarify questions. Read the chapters THOROUGHLY! DO THE HW, STUDY THE EXAMPLES in book.

I don't know why so many students are complaining about Prof. Leung. I took acct 1 with him in the summer. He is a great teacher, he cares about his students. Like I said, I took him in the summer and I had no problem passing his class with an A. Perhaps, those who complaint need to spend more time reading the book and doing the problems. STUDY!

Come to the class late most of the time. He just read the book in class but making us show up or else will fail the class. Class progress is slow (not even half way at midterm period.) Avoid if possible.

Comment:

Don't take this class unless you're an excelled intuitive self-learner. His examples and analogies just doesn't make any sense because he just works the problem. Literally threw in 4 tests last minute at the end on top of final. Its mandatory to do well on the first 10 chapters or final exam. We started from 35 students down to 4 at the final exam.
