Comment:

He's a nice guy. He doesn't check the homework BUT during the next class he will go over questions from the homework. This was really helpful. Since hw isn't graded, your grade = 3 tests and attendance. Also, if you do poorly on a test he lets you retake it at the end of the semester.

Gives 1 way to do things. No jumping around. Stays after class night as long as you need. Doesn't collect homework. Doesn't take attendance. 4 tests make up your grade and he drops 1. Detailed review before each test. If your average is good after 3 tests, final is optional. Final is not cumalative, just the last unit. Do your work and get easy A.

Professor Stoner was an all around good teacher. I had him for 150 and I ended up with a B, and i really suck at math. His final is not cumulative, its just on the last unit you learn and he also lets you retake one of the first 2 units if you want to. I would suggest taking his class to someone who doesnt do well on math finals

First of all im probably the dumbest person in the world at math.. the fact that i could learn even elementary algebra and get an A is a miracle and i know if i didnt have him as a teacher i would have never gotten it.. im not a dumb person but in math i am so if you are to hes the guy for you. willing to take time out of his schedule to help.

I enjoyed Prof Stoner's class. He broke everything down when he explained it in a way that helped me understand. He sticks around after class to answer questions. Good teacher. Oh yes, and he likes trees. (No, not like *that*! He likes to measure them....)

I think Mr. Stoner is a great teacher. If you do your HW and ask questions there should be no problem passing this class. He reviews exactly what is on tests before hand so there is no excuse not to do well. I am taking him again for Precalc this semester.

Prof. Stoner is a pretty good prof. but there is NO class participation. It gets pretty boring but if your not good at Math this is the class to take. Prof. Stoner is a very fair grader and you can always ask him for help anytime and he tries his best to help you figure out whatever is messing you up. Overall, he's a great prof.

He was very helpful for my needs. He was accomodating to the fact that I needed to take tests in the disability resource ccenter, and he definitely worked with my needs. I was surprised to see so many people say negative things about him because I thought that he was a great teacher and person.

I disagree prebiouse comennts. I took PreCal class. He is very very nice. When I asked him about bacis math stuff, because my friend was going to take placement test, he gave me a basic math textbook. I also asked some question he explained so careful.

Completely useless if your not an A math student. Help is non-existant. Talks down to you if you have a question in class. Does some weird back scratching thing when he talks to individuals.
