Definitely one of my favorite professors in UofT. Kyros gives amazing lectures, derive most formulas by hand and explains every concept well. What's more, the content of the course itself is not only interesting but also useful. Although the test somewhat hard, the final grade will be fine due to a big curve. Highly recommend!!!

If you listen to him carefully, you will find that he knows the course content well and explain the concepts pretty clear. However, the assignments were not related with the content a lot, and the questions on tests were way harder than expected. You can learn things for sure, but it is pretty frustrating if you cannot get a mark you deserve.

The assignments took a lot of time. This course requires pretty good math background. Some graduate students told me that the professor thought 1/3 1/2 students committed plagiarism in his graduate course. It is really amazing. I think if so many people committed plagiarism, there should be some problem with the professor himself.

With his tablet PC as an aid for the course, I see no better prof to teach this course. Very useful in office hours (provided you can hunt him down). Made the difficult material very simplified and easy for the non-math oriented student body.

Good prof. Explains material clearly, and the material itself is very interesting... And you gotta love his name. Try saying it a couple of times: Kiriakos Kutulakos

Very good professor. Has very good visual presentation aids. Explains the material in a natural way of understanding. The assignments are long but help understand the material.

Oh, what fun times! I skipped almost all of his lectures because they didn't help one bit with the assignments. And the assignments took a lot of time to do! We were making some heavy-duty programs! The marking sucked, but no exam.
