Lectures are very unclear..speaks in a flat monotone.. Most questions from the test were not covered in class or book!! Nice guy but won't ever take his class again.. confused the whole semester

Prof. Lereoux was one of my favorites. He tells funny stories, and is really easy going. Some say he's hard, but it's only because he doesn't just give answers away, you have to really understand what he's talking about. His tests can be tough, but as long as you come to class and pay attention you'll do fine. There was no homework and no book.

I took LeRoux's 301 class and am now taking his 451 class. I am enjoying 451 a whole lot more. His lectures are more organized and actually follow the study guide. His lectures are funny and interesting. Only thing is that he calls on people to say something if they have thoughtful expressions on their face when he's speaking.

Occasionally says something interesting, but mostly it's all zzzz. He lets people go on silly, longwinded tangents taking lots of class time. The text is horribly written (he co-wrote it with Matsumoto). Easy grade.

Not a great teacher. His exams test you on things that he never mentions in class, his lectures go off in all different directions, and it doesn't helo that there is NO textbook! Some people like him, but his tone of vioce will put you to sleep. Do not take him if you have a hint of intelligence...

Dr. Leroux is just about the worst prof. I've ever had. All he says is "isn't that true?" His tests are a complete disaster, often tesing you on things that are totally trivial. I would never recommend anyone take his class.

Not a very fun class. Mostly all class participation. Very easy class. He grades on a curve and by points accumulated, not percents. His lectures are not very fun but are helpful on the tests, and most of his test questions are from the text.

Dr. Leroux is great! He is funny and engaging as a lecturer, makes everything clear, puts meticulous notes on his website if you should need to miss class, and makes himself available to give you any extra help. You can't get better.
