Don't take this class unless you're taking only this class and you can devote your whole day to his assignments. Points are consistently taken off if your answer is right or wrong on the chapter assignment. I didn't like having to push all my other classes to the side to complete the assignments.

This was an online class. This professor will answer your questions in a timely manner. Gives very clear feed back but jut keep on top of class and give yourself the time to ask way before any answer is due. He is very helpful and I did learn in this 8 week class - He is a cool professional academic!

Professor Raack is a great health professor! I have learned so much in HEALTH 011! I really like how he has organized the online class, because it facilitates my life. I got a C in this class because I slacked off. It was easy and fun. Get started on your essay right away. Also an easy A. Class assignment are a lot of writing and tests are short and multiple choice. Mandatory classroom discussions made it unique and fun with easy points.

I got a C in this class because I slacked off.This was one of the easiest and most fun classes I've taken. Don't wait until the last minute to start your essay, also an easy A. He tells you exactly what to do to pass the class. Read a chapter a week and take a test. Assignment is easy, lots of writing. Tests are easy & class discussion made it fun.

I took this class once bc it sounded easy and I failed. Took it again with an interest and received an A. Easy as long as you stay with it. read 1 chapter/week (not much work) and take a multiple choice test by end of the week and just participate in a class conversation about the topic. I personally learned a lot & am happy & would recommend!

Professors like this one are part of what makes an educational system useless: those that, a) are in charge of a "required" course; b) utilize an information-free textbook; and c) base each and every assignment solely on WRITING WHAT IS IN THE TEXTBOOK. This is the LOWEST level of learning, and is IMMENSELY inappropriate at a college level.

Professor Raak can be cold and grumpy at times but I find this online class simple. Go by the text book in the weekly assignments, comment on weekly discussions, pass the weekly quiz. He goes exactly by the text book. Really simple.

Like regurgitating textbook material? Love severely limited assignments like "personal impact" research papers wherein you must write two pages about "what you hope to learn from your research"? This is the professor for you. Hate logic, textbooks without inane prejudices, and factual information? You're in the right spot. Enjoy your course.

This teacher is one who gives busy work such as listing 9/10/ 11 things which are already listed in the book. Note at all interesting and frankly, rude. If you have another option, take it. That said, not a hard grader if you write like he likes (a lot of extraneous things).

The semester is far from over, but I am compelled to write a review. This is a horrible online. Organized. Yes. But, confusing. James Raack can't make up him mind with his expectations towards students. He is not a teacher but a task master. I would highly discourage this online class.

Good teacher over all. His lectures are well explained and he helps you do just about everything, his tests may seem hard but he grades you in the curve! i recomend you to take him, however you do have a term paper but its really easy and he will help you get the best grade possible.

HE LECTURES AND HE TEST. HE GIVES ABOUT 10 TEST OVER THE SEMESTER. AS LONG AS U READ THE CHAPTER U WILL BE COOL. HE GIVES ALOT OF LIBRARY DAYS. WHICH MEANS U DONT HAVE TO COME TO CLASS. HES A PRETTY FAIR TEACHER.
