GREAT PROFESSOR. KEEPS YOUR INTEREST AND THE READING IS FUN. DIDN'T USE THE BOOOK MUCH BUT HIS OTHER READINGS WERE VERY INTERSTING. MIDTERN, FINAL, THEISIS AND MAYBE A QUIZ (SORRY DON'T REMEMBER). HE GIVES YOU THE ENTIRE WEEK TO COMPLETE TESTS. ONE OF THE BEST PROF ESPECIALLY IF IT'S YOUR FIRST ON-LINE CLASS.

This class was so much work, I could not keep up, I am taking this class over this term, I just could not keep up with him! It was a very interesting class, but way too much work for me!

I very much enjoyed Professor Theisen's teaching. He used a lot of extra material which made the class even more interesting. He encouraged thinking "outside the box". He also made us challenge conventional wisdom and many of the accepted "norms" of ancient history.

Good teacher. I enjoyed the lectures and discussion with the professor. The Prof showed us slides from the various places he visited that tied into our lesson. It was an interesting class that opened my eyes to subjest matter I hadn't considered before. I would take a class with him again if it presented itself.
