All of the material she teaches is very important and you should definitely pay attention. However, there is a tremendous amount of homework given each night and it weighs a lot into your grade. Although she is lecture heavy, it is going to be very useful for your future career.

Prof McLoughlin is very sweet but if you don't do the homework you'll fail. She gives so much homework each night and doesn't always explain what to do well. She is caring and wants you to pass so as long as you keep up with the insane amounts of homework you'll be fine

What an amazing woman. The one class on campus in which you will actually LEARN how to teach. Take notes...listen to her...she knows what she is talking about and the info is invaluable. All of the work done in this class is worthwhile and are things you WILL NEED for the future - no busywork at all. Take her class - she will change your life.
