I took her online class. Reading material was enjoyable if you like to read. Fair grader. Make sure to do your assignments on time. If a grade is missing make sure you email her a bunch of times, sometimes getting a hold of her is a little bit of a chase. Paper topics are repetitive but overall not bad, i enjoyed it. engage in discussion board!!

WOULD NOT take her class again. Took her online course.. It wasn't hard but she rarely answerred emails & when she did, it wasn't much help. Not a fan of her as a professor.

She is just okay. However, I wouldnt take her again. 4 themes, participation, research paper and attendance. She barely discusses in class about what you have to write for the papers, you have to figure it out by yourself.

She continuously fills your brain with useless information during the classes and will pick apart your assigned papers with the most illogical errors that no professor i've ever had has ever disagreed with. Not to mention she thinks she's a god because she attends classes at Princeton. You only need two of the five books she tells you to get.

She is not a horrible teacher as everyone says. She is clear and straight to the point. She is a good teacher, it's just that students don't like to do excellent work. She is not an easy A, but your writing will definitely improve!Students that are responsible will not have any difficulty getting an A. C students will for have it for sure.

Horrible! Don't take her. A class like this should not be this hard. Very tough grader and very boring and treats us like we're in hs. Makes you get 3 books for this class Picks on little things if she doesn't like what you wrote or if it doesn't make sense to her. And won't even give to a chance to rewrite papers for a better grade. Avoid her !

Very knowledgable, easy going professor. I was absent a lot and read half of the material and managed to get an A. She does have an interesting selection of books for the course. I enjoyed the class for the most part. Two papers and midterm and final, it's quite easy ... I do recomend her.

She's a sweet lady. Do what you're supposed to do and you won't have a problem. Papers are pretty short, theres 4 and a 7-9 pg term paper. She will even give you extra time to hand stuff in.

She was a good teacher. She knew her stuff and gave about 4 writing assignments. But what do you expefct its COMPOSITION2. I had no problem with this teacher. Would take her again. Not hard, she gives you next class day to write a paper. Very short papers. about 5 paragraphs. Grades normal. Gives a lot of extra time for papers.

let's just say this lady knows her English, if she was thrown back into dark ages or the medieval times she'd be able to communicate in their old English lol great teacher, but you have to impress her if you wish for any recognition...anyone who wants to get on her good side better read their Edgar Allen Poe stories (she loves him) :))))))))

Before taking her class I had been out of school for awhile so its hard to make a fair assessment on the level of difficulty. Grading was fair and she gives you plenty of chances to redeem yourself if your late with assignments. INCREDIBLY INTERESTING CLASS. She wants you to leave the class a more disciplined, well-rounded, well educated student.

Had her for "American Literature". Great teacher. Her class was a joy. Lot's of thoughtful discussions in class, and a nice selection of required reading. Her class isn't "easy", but so what? I didn't do well on her tests, but if you hand in quality research papers it makes a huge impression with her. I absolutely recommend her. :)

Very easy class, if she like you. make a good first impression and do all the assignments. shes not organize and her grading system is weird. if you don't get at least a b, then you did something wrong because she gives you like a week to hand in an assignment before its late. and you can re-do any paper for a better grade.

her asign dont relate to wat ur reading. the classes are useless if you read the material because all she does is talk about it. she is unorganized with grading. she lost my paper and never put a grade in for it. my file got corrupted so i couldnt reprint it so i got a zero on that. she also didnt have a grade for a paper she just handed back to me

all she does is stand behind her desk and talk about the material at hand. BORINGGGG !!! ive never hated a class so much before in my academic career. not interesting. maybe if your a lit major youll like her otherwise stay away !

Don't take her online. She is unclear in what she wants and if you don't write a lot in your weekly responses, she will give you a bad grade. It's a heavy work load that might be easier in a real class, but is too much for online, especially when she doesn't seem availible for questions. One of those teachers that thinks their class is your life.
