Great prof. Uses humour. Easy to understand online lectures, gives examples. Easily availible for questions or comments. Helps you understand more with your own examples if it helps. Understanding. Cares about your future, not just the course.

Great professor! Makes a boring class bearable but there are tons of papers and he is a hard marker.

First prof. who actually seemed to care about my future instead of just teaching me because it was his job.

I was in the course for about two weeks when the lectures got to me, honestly just take it in class because DE for this class is literally hell. I liked MyPsychLab and how interactive it was but it just wasn't worth it because the content was so boring.

took online psych 1200. Lectures are useful as they cover lots from the textbook. a little cringe with the jokes but besides that the material is easy enough as long as you devote time to study. Clearly goes over what will be on the test and what needs to be studied. online option also had study quizzes that were very helpful.

Easily one of the best professors I've had. Cares deeply about individual students, does his best to make lectures entertaining (which he succeeded at), and teaches things very clearly.

We didn't get him, it was his TA that always showed up to class. She was fine and then the prof used to post video lectures. It's a lot of content for each test, it's not as easy as everyone says it is (unless you start studying well before the test date), and there was research participation and online assignments that were also for credit.

Intro to Psych DE is pretty straightforward. I recommend reading the book, making notes then listening to his lectures. MyPsych Lab is a great tool, if you do the practice quizzes, do the reading and take good notes, you shouldn't have an issue.

Took this class as half online half in class. You dont even get to see the prof, you only get a TA. Testing is way too much material for 40 mc each test that can be very unfair. Him and his wife have made the online videos, 3 for each chapter. Very boring and hard to listen to them.

Horrible professor, grades your assignments very unfairly and poorly. seems to carry his views while grading student assignments. be warned! out of all the courses i took i learned the least in his class and for all his class theatrical gimmicks he has no grading abilities or a neutral attitude which is so important to be a good professor.

Entertaining, seems to genuinely care about what he's teaching, and has very child-like goofy aura - very easy to approach. He addresses people who are being distracting, and gives personal examples of things to relate to the material. Covers everything in class, so go, take a few notes, and it's an easy pass.

An alright professor but talks too fast enough for you to be required to pause online lectures every minute which were always 40 minutes or more, long. Had a research paper which he graded unfairly and research participation.

Don't take this course by distance EVER. Super hard midterms and finals will make up 80% of your grade! So many chapters and you have to literally memorize everything. Also there's one research paper assignment which he grades very unfairly though the assignment isn't that bad. My advice, take it in class, no final or midterm! You've been warned!!!

Very nice and clear. He strives for the students to pass and answers all questions. Didn't need to read the textbook at all, his tests were based off his lectures. He also posted all his lectures online. Some test questions can be a bit tricky. Also he isn't very tech savvy. Would choose this professor again if I could

Took this 6 credit hour course online, and as a regular distance ed. student this was hands down the worst class I've ever taken. The tests we're very hard, and most of your grade is based off of your test marks. Did serious damage to my GPA, and walked out with little insight. Avoid if possible, would recommend looking at C.V.U. equivalences.

Jason is a very nice proff. If you take intro psych, take it with him. Sitting in the lectures was great fun and I'm hopeful that I'll cross paths with him again. He's an introvertered person but he keeps the ball rolling. Awkward and adorable describe him best. He is very helpful for answering your questions.

WARNING: Do not take this through Distance, THE WORST PROF ever. I see all the reviews about him and i'm sure he's helpful and all through the lecture classes, but through distance? He was NOT helpful at all. Useless in fact. I failed his class because of how terrible his notes were and how BORING his lectures were. Take DE with him at your own risk
