Nice prof but extremely boring class! He talks about evolution like it is "little Gerry's" choice is what he says and tells long story's that have nothing to do with the class. He is clear with what he is grading you on but you have to go to class for that. The lab is the best part about this class.

Comment:

A great professor who makes it very clear as to what he is asking for when grading. He will always mention what he will put on the exam during his lectures. His slides contain very little information and will talk a lot when explaining them, but as long as you're paying attention and go to class, you won't have to go the extra mile to pass.

Absolutely one of the worst profs I've had at laurentian. He was my teacher for ecology and made me hate it. On the final I was asked to identify which slide show the guy cutting the lawn was from still not sure how that's relevant to ecology but okay. He showed up to the final 20 minutes late with the exams. Talks too fast.

Really boring guy, monotone voice, and his lecture slides are a lot of pictures so taking notes was tough at times. He makes Ecology much tougher than it has to be. Tests are wayyy tougher than you'd expect. Found this class harder than Organic Chemistry with him teaching it. Would not recommend.

Easy going, get's to know his students and loves to make jokes. Sometimes the classes get long, but he does his best. Notes and what he expects from labs are often unorganized. Not an easy grader (especially for labs) but an A is still achievable.
