I think Jen is great. I don't want to teach babies or toddlers, but learned alot in this course. She's helpful, but yes, she does make the students do alot of the work, but I like hands-on activites. As for grading, she gives study guides for exams and a group final. Portfolio was alot of work.

I hated this class and the way that Jen ran it. My main complaint about Jen is that she doesn't teach! She makes us come up with the information and teach each other while she sits back and watches. I also though she was an unfair grader and wasn't clear about ANYTHING.

I LOVED HER!! I had her for two classes in a row and I was never board. She keeps you interested throughout the whole class time!! If you study for her tests she tells you exactly what will be on them!! One of the BEST education teachers here!!!

Easiest class I have ever had. Tests were easy. She let the students run the class pretty much, which was her biggest mistake. But this was the first class she taught at West Chester so she probably has her act together now.
