Professor Flanders-Crosby is an amazing teacher. She is very knowledgeable about the work that she does and the research that she does/did in her whole career. she will give you really good feedback, you just have to make sure to not waste her time. Her grading style is awesome and she gives lots of extra credit. She grades attendance, so show up!

Comment:

She really wants her students to succeed and provides LOTS of extra credit opportunities. There is a lot of tedious homework assignments but she makes them on the easier side so you can get them done in a short amount of time. If you show up to classes and turn in your homework you will get an easy A. All exams and quizzes are partner or open note.

Professor Jill is the hottest mama professor out there. But seriously, this class was selected from my advisor and i approved of it without looking into it and it was the happiest mistake ever. Jill is hilarious, keeps you engaged in class discussion and is a truly "hands-on" professor. 10/10.

This is an easy class to pass - it is basically a plethora of busy work and making sure you skim through the readings maybe fifteen minutes before class. She is a bit condescending, but besides that, she was an alright teacher.

It is very easy to get an A in this class if you do all the assignments but Jill is very condescending at times and I feel like she can't be bothered with anything. She talks down to the class at times and made me feel like I was stupid. I do not feel she a good Professor.

She assigns super easy homework weekly. She was always very fair with grading and somewhat lenient with deadlines. As long as you participate in class and turn in your assignments, it's an easy "A". She is entertaining, and overall I really enjoyed the class.

Professor Flanders-Crosby is energetic and fun. You can tell she really enjoys what she does. There are a few downsides though. There are times when she treats you like a child and she sometimes goes back on her word. But overall, it was a fun class and an easy A as long as you did your work. She was also always there to help whenever asked.

It's a very easy A course. As long as you do everything you're going to get an A. I found Jill to be rather strange and condescending at times. She sometimes looks at the student as though they are stupid, which a teacher never should do. If you can handle her weird personality it's a very easy course to take, as long as you show up every day.

This class wasn't exactly what I thought it would be. It was like a history lesson of dance though we did have seven movement sessions where you actually danced. Anyways, Jill is a very funny teacher that makes the class interesting. Don't bother her before class starts and attend class. It's very simple but there is a short assignment each day.

This class was fun, at the beginning I was a little skeptic on whether taking dance appreciation or music appreciation. But this class was very helpful in understanding the basics of dance and the history behind it. The professor is a little loud and fun but she knows plenty of information about her subjects.

Jill is great. I dreaded taking a fine arts class and she made it easy and fun. You are pretty much guaranteed an A if you go to class, if not shes not afraid to give you a bad grade. All tests are take home and quizzes are done in groups. Amazing lady!

The work in her class is easy bit completely boring. Unless your a dance major, nothing will help you in the class. She is very rude to everyone and is not very helpful. I do not recommend, take an art or music class for your art credit and stay away from Jill.

This is a dance appreciation class... that is a fluff class in case you hadn't heard. This teacher thinks it should be your most important class, she has mandatory attendance and participation in dancing, in a lecture class. Further, she requires attendance just to show YouTube videos. Fail. Oh, that's what she does to you if you don't samba well.

I just completed Dance Appreciation with Professor Flanders-Crosby and it was AMAZING! I highly reccomend this class to any and everyone who want to have fun! Lots of homework and you must be there, but totally worth it! Especially the movement sessions!

Comment:

She is kind of crazy but a fun teacher. Just go to class and skim the textbook. Its an easy A as long as you do those things. I suggest taking the class with a friend you do have to dance (only a few times a semester) and its a lot more fun with a friend there to laugh with.
