As an English major, I did not enjoy this class at all. I didn't like Prof. Daly's style. Usually with teachers, if you argued your point well&had proof, you would get a good grade. With her, however, you had to argue HER opinion or else the highest grade you could get on a paper was a C. She took 2-3 weeks to get papers back. I don't recommend her

Has a very interesting teaching style and offers a variety of interpretations in the short stories and poems. Focuses deeply on poetry and all the esaays and response papers are critical. Interesting class and teacher but you have to enjoy english to take her.

Professor Daly is kind of an odd person, but she really is a much better teacher than most of these ratings make her out to be. Yes, she does take a really long time to grade papers, but you can tell that she has a passion for what she teaches. She has a lot of group activities and fun projects. I enjoyed her class for those reasons. Great teacher!

This has to be the worst teacher I have ever met. Annoying nagging voice, judgmental, and air-head. Her class presentations show she is not interested in the material. Only talks about stuff that has no relevance in our worlds. My classmates and I would meet on a regular basis to discuss her flaws. Why is she still teaching. Avoid her class!

Yes, She does bug everyone in the call, but, if you do your work, you will do fine. I suck at english and I get A's and B's on all my papers! She does a lot of grammer, which is helpful. Papers are confusing at first, but just talk to her and she will give you help.

Not the best. Found it necessary to reeducate her students in the use of commas and apostrophes. She would have been excellent in high school, but she wasn't what I wanted out of a college course. That said, get on her good side and things will be pretty okay.

I took her class over the summer and got an A. All you have to do is the work and read to get the grade you want. She was terrible at returning papers though. Overall, she wasn't a very good teacher, but it was an okay class. I wouldn't recommend her for English 101.

I'm not sure what others are talking about, but I like this teacher and my class. Ms. Daly is always available when I need help, and she teaches what I need to know. If people aren't prepared for this class, don't have the skills they need to succeed in the class, or are slackers, that's not her problem. She knows her stuff and delivers it well!
