Her personality is hit or miss. Stopped going to lectures since I was learning more about her personal life rather than the course material. Textbook will be your teacher and when in doubt quizlet is your last hope on tests (online). No study guide/review material or ability to review old tests since she reuses them for the final. Absolute worst.

Jodi is awesome! All of the tests are at-home and open book (open internet ;)). She doesn't take attendance, but going to her class is def worth your wild. She is very entertaining and always tries her best to engage. Be ready to talk and discuss during class!

Honestly one of the worst profs/classes I have ever taken. Lectures consist of her giving examples of concepts from her personal life which is not at all relevant to exams, which are pretty much all questions straight from the text. The only effective way to study would be to memorize the book. She is also rude in person and via email. Do not take!

The material seems interesting but lecture was super boring. She tried to spice it up but just could not quite deliver. You should still go to lecture because she covers things that are not in the book. Sadly there are no extra credit opportunities but if you go to class and at least skim the book this class should be straightforward.

Literally the easiest class I've taken at State. I didn't even watch the lectures, just flipped through the slides and took the exams.

Take this class online. I'm a senior and this is probably the easiest class I've ever taken. 10 chapter activities that are easy points as long as you answer the questions in detail. The tests are all multiple choice and really easy if you look over the powerpoints before the exam.

There are weekly assignments online, of which you only need to do 10. Theyre pretty easy and pay require a little of textbook reading. Participation isnt required but sometimes we discuss things in class that arent in the textbook. All 3 exams were online on Wolfware, so you can take the test anywhere you wish on the test days.

She is passionate about im, but honestly lecture confused me more (better to just read textbook). She gets distracted on topics that aren't always aligned with the course, and honestly shares controversial opinions as facts. She means well but lectures are hard to attend. Tests are hard b/c there may be many "correct" answers but one "best"

When you go to lecture it seems easy until you get back and try to do the homework, realizing all she did was talk loudly at you about her own life. She does not describe the ideas needed well, if at all. The tests are long and you will not have time to look over the various super poorly worded questions. Very bad professor do not take her.

Probably the easiest class I've ever taken. I took COM 112 online over the summer and made an A without trying. 3 tests and a final all online, no testing center. All answers to the tests are on quizlet somewhere. A few easy homeworks and that's it. She's also very sweet. Easy A.

Take this course with another teacher if possible, this class could have been a great class if I had taken it differently. Not online and with a different professor.

Don't take this class online. 75 minutes for 75 questions which gives no time to understand the questions and check answers.

The lectures are recordings of when she taught the class in person from the semester before, so they are pretty long. If you buy the textbook and have it open during the test, it will be really easy to get a good grade as long as you work fast. The assignments are easy and common sense. Overall, a decent online class.

The chapters are just recordings of her in person lectures so they are way longer than they should be for an online class. She asks questions to her class during the lecture and you can't even hear the response. I finished studying abroad for a year and the first exam was the day I flew home, she wouldn't let me make it up. Very difficult exams.

She's amazing! GREAT lecturer, super nice, & funny. She's only rude if you deserve it (listening to music, on your phone), but otherwise awesome. She's pretty blunt but never offensive. Some info is lecture-only, so go to class & read the book. Tests are a breeze if you do both. Very informative, accommodating, and polite over email. Awesome prof!

She makes the test extremely long and hard, 75 min for 75 questions. (maybe that's why the tests are open notes and books, since u don't have time to even finish it!) Just try other professors, at least they won't give hell-level tests as long as hers. Remember, tests got the majority of ur grades!!!

Lecture is entertaining but she gives zero feedback. Tests are open note and 75 m.c. I got an answer wrong on one of the tests so I emailed her because my answer correlated with info in the text. Despite quoting the text that supported my answer, she told me that the question was from lecture material...

She can be pretty rude but her class is a breeze. Attendance is optional, all tests are online, open note, open book. There are only like ten online assignments and they are super easy. If you have the chance, take her class!

All you need to do is read the textbook to pass, her lectures are textbook chapters she just adds in her anecdotes. Lectures can be pretty boring, typically only when others don't participate/respond to her stories. Pretty nice, and accessible out of class. Not difficult material/professor, so take her if you can. She speaks very loudly.
