Nancy Ogle is a very smart and talented woman, who has a lot of knowledge about voice. Her diction class can be confusing at times since she never gives very clear instructions. She's an easy grader, though, and so sweet!

Nancy said I was not worth risking her reputation on when I asked for a recommendation. After a successful career, I can see now that Nancy is a singer who gives other singers a poor name. She lost her temper several times while I was there, once screaming in the face of a director from Camden Opera. She may be an ok teacher, but not a role model.

Nancy Ogle is a gem! She is an open book of knowledge and one of the most invaluable resources a serious voice student could have. She is knowledgable in many disciplines, not just music. I have had her for Diction classes, voice lessons, and voice pedagogy class, and could not ask for a more wonderful teacher or person. She is AWESOME.

I have her for Honors, and she's a good professor. We work moderatly hard, I haven't heard of many working hard, but I hear most classes do nothing. Good if you want to learn, but then again, my peers contributed a great deal to the atmosphere as they were very knowledgable about the topics discussed in class.

Nancy is intensley knowledgable and if one is interested in seriously learning this craft she can be a huge asset to your education. However, if you do not show some enthusiasm and hardwork she probably won't pay much attention to you. Nancy is a wonderful person, and has a very positive attitude.

I had her for honors not music and she seemed to know her stuff but she didnt make people work very hard. thats great if you just want to screw around but its hard to do much on your own in terms of classics etc.

Her lack of communicative people skills combined with her condescension prove to be an ill-fitting combination. She flits from topic to topic and not many feel they have a strong grasp on the pronunciation and cirriculum. Poor teaching, period.
