Comment:

He is a really good professor, he is very caring about wanting his students to pass. I did not pass his class but that was my own fault because I didn't do much of his homework nor did I really study for tests. I would recommend him as he tries his best to explain the lectures and any questions you have.

Comment:

I failed the class, but I'm still giving him a 5 rating. The reason? If I had one less class, or had time to register for classes that were not ALL heavy in workload, I know that I probably would've passed. Homework's heavy, but as long as you make sure to complete it by near the end of the semester, you do it at your own pace. Very understanding.

Professor Maire is very clear from the beginning of class as to what he expects. He tells you that you don't have to show up for class, but does recommend it. He is also very accessible outside of class, and is willing to make a special trip up to the school to help the students who want to excel in his class. I would enroll in his class again.

Like with many math classes there is a lot of homework & you cant skip too many classes or youll be completely lost. Very good professor, hell answer any question you have. If you miss a class hell let you come to his other class to catch up, hes very funny and is willing to help as long as you ask.

Professor Maire is such a great instructor. If you struggle with math I would highly recommend taking his class! He explains things very well and is always available to answer any questions you may have. Do all Your homework and try your best on the tests and you will pass. Best Math Professor! He cares about his students!

I have tried a couple of times to take college algebra but it was always too difficult or no help from my professors. This was not the case with Prof. Maire if you struggle in Math take him!!! Homework and going to class will help you a lot! Take him!

this is an online course but at the campus. You learn at your own pace but the homework has to be done before next period. It's easy to learn the things you can access online are very helpful and Professor Maire is there to help you in any way he can. Seriously wish I had this Professor in other classes. if you get him you won't be disappointed

I have had a fear of math for years. If you have trouble with math, but need to pass math for that degree, I suggest taking his class. Most of the homework was on my math lab. We did have a quiz each week , but they were not hard. The final was a little harder , but it wasnt too hard. He is very freindly and answers all your questions. with a smile

I'M AN OLDER STUDENT. MATH WAS THE LAST CLASS I NEEDED FOR MY ASSOCIATES. I HATE MATH!!!!! HE MADE IT INTERESTING AND FUN. HE REALLY WORKS WITH HIS STUDENTS. HE IS AVAILABLE FOR QUESTIONS. YOU HAVE TO GET THE HOMEWORK COMPLETED TO UNDERSTAND THE LECTURES. HE GIVES GREAT TIPS ON THE TI CALCULATOR. HE IS FUNNY AND DOWN TO EARTH!

DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS ONLINE. I had an 84 in the class at the end of the semester after the final exam was up on Blackboard. Asked previously if the grade on blackboard according to point average were correct and was told yes. When he input my final grade it was changed from an 84 to a 66 due to a "different" form of grading.

He's one of my favorite professors I've ever had. He's a funny prof and makes the lecture go by fast. Gives bonus points for doing online homework. He doesn't hesitate to answer questions and help you understand the material. He was a wonderful guy and I would take his class again.

Awesome professor!! Cares about his students and wants everybody to pass. Grades fairly and gives bonus points. If you have any questions he will gladly answer them! Good Proofessors DO make a difference and he is the perfect example. Best professor I've had.

Professor Maire is a great professor. His lectures are great compared to other math professors I've taken. He really takes his time when he explains the problems on the board. His reviews sessions are very helpful it prepares you for the exam. Also if you finish your mathlab hw assigned before the exam you get bonus points on test.

Awesome instructor, will take as much time as needed to help you understand. I recommend this instructor to anybody. No textbook was needed for Math 315 Summer School, everything was done thru Math Lab, and worksheets. If you're having doubts about taking math, take it with Mr. Maire.
