Comment:

I've taken two classes with him. He's very nice and really cares about helping his students succeed. However, he lectures a lot, and I never found his lectures very interesting. But, he is passionate about Graphic Arts and very sweet. His study guides never really match what's on the exams. He is very understand about pushing back due dates.

Comment:

Professor Craft is one of the most caring professors I've ever met. He will go out of his way to make sure you understand what's going on and to get your projects going. His lectures can get off topic sometimes but his exams are fairly easy and the projects are step by step instruction based.

Professor Craft is one of the nicest professors I have had. He has a knowledgeable background of Graphic Design. Although his lectures can be long, you can work on your assignments while still being engaged with what he is saying. He is willing to work with you and extend deadlines when needed, and he is super helpful when working on projects.

He gets off topic A LOT. Very knowledgeable though - I learned more in this class than I did in all of my other graphics classes. Would recommend. He's a good professor who will definitely go out of his way to help a student.

Comment:

While Craft is very knowledgable about Photoshop, his tangents and stories are unbearable at times, as he takes up almost the entire class time babbling about his life. However, if you keep up with your work, the class isn't too hard and he is helpful with personal assignments.

the man is a photoshop genious, BUT with photoshop being incredibly hands on, his love of telling stories/getting off on tangents really hinders your ability to get work done on time. Granted i took him for a summer class where everything is sped up, but still. Corny jokes are his passion, as you would expect from a computer guy. Helpful though

While I learned something in his classes, it was very frustrating to wait for him to finish each tangent he would go off on. HE was late to class at least as often as his worst students. The lab assistant had very little to do because class time ate into the lab time. He needs to spend more time preparing his lectures.

Dr Craft is knowledgeable, yes. But he's also completely full of himself and easily one of the most aggravating professors I've ever had. Expect to sit in class and lab just listening to him talk for 1:45 hours out of the 2:00 hours available (and then get lectured for not finishing the assignments done on time).

Very knowledgeable. Helped write some of the TEC/GAIT text books. He seems to always get onto tangents. Study the palletes and key commands for his tests. Talking with him outside of class is always a plus as well, so he feels like he knows you. Great Guy.

Dr. Craft is a pretty awesome teacher. He can give a tutorial on about anything dealing with Photoshop. The class assignments may get a little crammed for time, but if you work just a little bit outside of class, you should be able to turn them in on time. Study for the exams though, especially commands and terms for the pallettes and items in PS

This man is frustrating! He tries to prove he's competent in PhotoShop, but he's so outdated it doesn't help anyone learn. If you know anything about PhotoShop, be prepared to be bored and frustrated. If you don't, be prepared to be lost and frustrated. Oh, and he's the moodiest professor at ASU.
