Professor d'Entremont is an amazing professor, who has a passion for teaching his students about the American Civil War. I have always liked learning about this era of American history, but I feel like I have learned more from him than I have from anyone else about this subject. I look forward to Professor d'Entremont's class every day!

I love Prof. d'Entremont! He makes any subject interesting & I feel motivated to learn more about history & life from him. I was at first intimidated by him but soon realized he is so friendly and genuine to students. He expects hard work but it's worth the effort. I'm so glad to be a History major because I'll have four years to learn from him.

I've have also taken multiple courses taught by d'Entremont. He is a brilliant man, and by far my favorite professor on this campus. His classes aren't the easiest and he doesn't give grades out, you get the grade you deserve.

The BEST. Truly, a brilliant mind, and unbelievable orator. I've had him for multiple courses, and have noticed that students who allege 'unfairness' tend to be those unwilling to attend class, take dutiful notes, and study. If you don't do all three, you will be lost--but then, you deserve to be. He's generous with his time for those seeking help.

As a history major, I had him for several classes. He is a great lecturer and tells fun stories. He makes class interesting. He is a tough grader, but its college. If you study, you should pass his tests, he doesnt ask anything he did not cover or assign to read. Very knowledgeable and communicates well with students.Wonderful professor!!

I took all of J d'E 's lecture classes and several seminars. I loved every minute of it because it was challenging and thought-provoking. His tests are based off of the lectures and books he assigned, so while class is not "Mandatory", it is if you intend to learn anything becuase he doesn't assign textbooks. It's worth it if you put in the time.

A wonderfully insightful man who takes all perspectives into account; technical as well as philosophical. Although I had him from 7-9 pm in a seminar, it was a joy to spend my evening in that class. At times, it seemed too short. He gives excellent feedback - very conducive to the type of give-give relationship you can form at. The essence of RMWC!

I had him for four classes during my time at RMWC and I have to say he's one of the best teachers I've ever had. He's extremely intelligent and very respectful of his students. He teaches history in a way that makes hour long lectures seem too short. And yes, he's absolutely adorable.

I had him about 17 years ago...does he still say: "Hello gang" when he walks in the class? I loved the books he assigned us to read. Enjoyed the class.
