Comment:

Teaches material EXTREMELY fast. A test is given every class so that will either be your best friend or worst enemy. Math was never my strong subject so I didnt do well in that part, however he does give 2 extra credit assignments that can help your grade out.

Comment:

Professor Masotti is hilarious while teaching there wasn't a class where I didn't laugh once. We took a test everyday which was based on the material form the previous class which wasn't so bad. If you've never taken this course before it might be kind of difficult because he goes over the material very quickly. Get your textbook ASAP!!

Comment:

Very nice man and he does not take any bs from students. His classes are intense for someone who is not an excellent math student like myself, so the only way for me to go through the class was by doing the homework for every class and really listen in class. I also got help from a tutor which helped me a lot but he is definitely a great professor.

doesn't explain the process in which to solve complex math problems. When students ask questions, he is no help at all and tells them to look in the book. The only reason I was able to do okay in teh class is because I have a strong math background from AP classes in high school. DO NOT TAKE if weak in math or have not taken math for a few years.

Such an easy class. Reads directly off the textbook, and quizzes and tests are directly from them. He gives a quiz every single day we meet, but its not hard. Textbook is mandatory because we do problems from it everyday. Overall, easy A.

Masotti was the best Math teacher I've ever had. Pretty funny guy and he'll help you out whenever you need it. We had to buy the book because we used it every day and he would give a quiz before every lesson but it was easy if you payed attention in class. He gave hw but it wasn't mandatory which was great. A lot of work but he made it easy.

Ok he is a really nice guy, but has a very dry sense of humor, so just beware. You use the textbook everyday and in every class you will have a quiz to start off the class. He is very easy going and will help you out whenever you need. If you could definitely take him.

Pretty simple, show up to class, do the homework, buy the book and you will get an A. He gives alot of quizzes, which boosts your grade, plus the test. Does not collect homework and doesnt assign the answers in the book so you can check, but the quiz and test questions come right out of the book. Good professor, quirky sense of humor.

He looks like a mix of a possibly gay macho man randy savage and robin williams. He doesn't really teach, he just reads directly from the book and randomly asks students to go to the board to solve the questions 1 minute after reading. I suppose if your a strong math student this is a good class, but if you suck at math then this will suck

This guy is the most condesending man I have ever met. He does not know how to teach, and barely understands the materials he covers. Its an easy A if you do the homework, but if you get stuck on anything - don't ask him cause he can only read out of the text book. I hated this class SO much, but it was worth the easy A.

Hmmm...he plays favorites. Definitely likes the guys more than the girls. If you're one of the favorites, you have nothing to worry about. If you're not, well then....you're out of luck. He will conveniently forget grades and other things of that nature. If theres no one else available, take him but if you dont have to then dont.

Great teacher, weird sense of humor. I hate math but he goes out of his way to explain, he knows everyone in class by name and what they are capable of. He gives homework every class but makes sure you are prepared for tests. It is math so you HAVE to study. He gives extra credit work and drops lowest grade. I just dislike math now.
