Horrible teacher. he swore at us. and nothing was ever clear. you would have to redo papers and make them better but they were never good enough. You had to di it his way or no way at all. Do not take him.

No text required, awesome. Prof. Cole is an intelligent, up-beat professor who loves grammar and movies. You are graded on seven papers, all of which can be revised as many times as necessary to get an A. If you don't do good in this one, you either don't care, or stupid. There are many good English professors at Lincoln, Cole is just one of them.

He's a smart guy and knows a lot about movies. A total film connoisseur. He can be kinda standoffish but he's nice enough. No homework except for a couple of essays over the course of the semester. As long as you don't miss too many days and hand in each essay, you're golden.

Hes a nice teacher, just come to class, dont bring your laptops, he seems to hate them. This film class was fun, you get to watch a bunch of movies. Only 4 Analysis papers due during the term. and 2 exams..

Had him for Eng Lit. He's a cool guy! Wicked movie nerd but a great guy in general. Laid back class, papers are easy to write and theres only like 3 of them. The tests are tricky though. I thought the tests would be super easy like the class, wrong!

had him for both comp1 and filmaslit......he is just a great guy..i look up to him a lot. he makes me laugh has a funyn humour hates stevie nicks and is very passionate about film. he dresses like he is a director or something. i consider him a friend and i hope he sees me that way too.

Very good teacher. Your first day or two of class you will be intimidated. But trust me, he is really easy going, and very nice. Just show up and do the homework- simple as that. The work is not backbreaking. Most of the hard stuff is done in class anyways. I'm sad i wont get to take him again, i would if i could. Highly reccomended.

He was a very effective teacher. He never turns a student away. I found his teaching style invoked good writing and thinking. He never judged the information in papers, just looked for an effective writing style and hard work. I would highly recomment this teacher to anyone. Be prepared to work hard.

Pretty easy....alot of typing. Every paper was only 3-4 pages. Different types of papers...made you think outside the box.
