Comment:

He is a really cool guy, only thing that sucks is you have to go to every class and pay attention. He does not give out any study guides for tests and you don't know what your grade is until the end of the semester. Pop quizzes when he feels like there's not a lot of kids in class, but a very educated man. Take him if you can retain information!

If it wern't for his connections to the lecture he uses real life examples which are very much helpful he makes a rather boring lecture fun.

Very knowledgeable professor, with interesting stories. However, his class is unnecessarily hard. I have never read a book for any of my classes prior to this. You MUST read the book and attend class if you want to get above a C. Would suggest taking it with a different professor if you're expecting an A or a B with average effort.

Comment:

Come to class and take good notes. All lectures are verbal, so you must pay attention. Reading the book is mandatory as it helps tie in examples from lecture. Tests are tough, but if you take good notes and read they are tolerable. One easy paper, not much homework if I recall. Beware of pop quizzes ;)

Comment:

He is the best professor I have ever had at UA. His class is 80% Exams, and 20% pop quizzes and mini assignments but he is worth taking for this class. I enjoyed all of the funny examples he made to make really dry topics seem interesting. You can also tell that he genuinely cares about his students because he always gave us practical life advice.

Has 4 Tests, 1 paper, 2 HWs and a bunch of quizzes. Quizzes are just for attendance so all get 100 who show up. His tests are application based and sorta hard. Very funny and experienced lawyer who makes class entertaining. You can get As on the tests by paying attention, taking notes and skimming the book. He curves where the high score is a 100%

Matejkovic was a great lecturer. His classes were so interesting, and it wasn't hard at all to pay attention. He definitely knows what he is talking about. His tests are SO hard though. I get A's in all classes but average C's on his tests. Also, you MUST read the book, and take really good notes in class.

Phenomenal lectures from a lot of his experiences as an attorney. Dr. Matejkovic made this course interesting and enjoyable. His tests are tough.

Test questions are unclear and designed to trick you, not actually measure whether or not you understand the concepts. Read your book. He doesn't test over the big concepts but rather picks obscure random ideas. He's a lawyer that definitely thinks he should be a law professor, but obviously is stuck in a job he doesn't like.

The way to achieve an A in his class is to read the chapters and take notes before the class. During the class pay attention to what he talks about and the chapter will make more sense. He's a great professor and knows what he's talking about. Make sure you go to every class because he gives attendance quizzes and they will impact your grade

Best professor at UA! Gives real life examples, the class is very interesting, and he makes it fun. You must go to class to pass, but if you take good notes you will do fine in the class! Wish I could take him for another class!!

Great professor. His tests are crazy hard. Take detailed notes in class because his exams cover in-class material and the book so you HAVE to read the chapters. Gives a curve at the end of the semester to raise your grade due to the nearly impossible exams. Would take again.

He is the besttttttt!!! A very good and knowledgable teacher, although his tests I'd say are very difficult, he is aware of this and curves accordingly. I got an A simply because I took good notes and studied! I averaged like C's on his tests without any curves so that's what that tells ya! I'd take him again for sure!

I really really liked both him and his class. Obviously the tests are going to be hard. It's a class about Law. I averaged C's and B's on his tests. If you study the notes and book, you'll be fine. If he sees that no one is in the class he will give an EASY pop quizzes that are the same answers every time.

Best Professor I have ever had at The University of Akron! Learned the most of any class and truly cares about the students. If you want easy get out of his classroom. If you want a challenge and a worthwhile class take this professor. Would take again without hesitation.

Comment:

Knows his stuff, but tests are really, really hard! Tests cover some lecture material, but have to read all the chapters. You NEED to go to class everyday, attendance quizzes boost your grade a ton. Don't know grade until end of semester curve. Gives 4 HW assignments; cares about ethics. Respectable guy, learn a lot, but very challenging.

Comment:

One of my all time favorite professors. He brings his real life experiences to help with understanding. Always willing to answer questions and help you with anything! It was such a wonderful class, but hard. This is not a class that you skate through. He will challenge you with thinking things through. All around nice guy too!

His tests are very hard. You must read the book and attend lecture to be able to understand everything. It's a very interesting class. He uses funny and sometimes extreme examples that help you remember terms, concepts, etc.
