I wouldn't recommend this professor to anyone! He is not a good professor and doesn't care about his students at all. My car is buried due to the snow storm the last few days and he refuses to reschedule my appointment then my friend's papa died and he told her that she needs official notice from the registrar or she has to come to her meeting.

Easily the most boring class I have ever taken. There are quizzes at the beginning of class that take five minutes, then he lectures for the rest of class, usually going off on tangents. I would absolutely not recommend this class.

Every class we had a quiz on the reading, so if you just do the readings you do well in the class. But this may have been the most boring class I have ever taken, he rambled on and on about the bible for an hour every class. But when he lectures almost none of it matters to your grade because he doesn't test on his lectures.

I got a C+ in his class and feel like I damned well earned it. Yes, the guy is arrogant, but he's one of those rare people who can back it up. If you don't want to work, skip this prof. If you want to learn something, then Mulryan's for you.

The man is arrogant, but he's so intelligent and so kind. He knows so much about mythology and literature. His exams are tough but one learns a significant amount in the courses. Take good notes, read the material, and think, and you'll have an A. Also, don't let his arrogance bring you down.

Run. As fast as you possibly can. You can tell he used to be a genius but he has passed his peak. Class consists of him rambling with what seems to be no point or no end. I couldn't learn a thing from him, read all the text and you'll be fine, but without any social life.

Everyone hates Dr. Mulryan because he's hard and makes them actually work. What most people don't take the time to realize is that the material isn't that hard if you try even a little bit, and Dr. M's also one of the nicest profs at SBU. He would do anything to help students if they'd just ask.

So the guy is the most amazing historian on the face of the planet. He knows more than a damn encyclopedia, but he does not relay his knowledge to the students very well. He rambles on a lot about nothing and his tests are rediculous (4 essays on 200pgs of the text... final = depths of hell).Really nice guy, and if u read the book u wont do too bad
