I had him for intro to stats. You don't get to use notes on the tests which really caught me off guard. He's always available for tutoring, although most of the class said he was horrible at teaching. He's super boring but then again, it's stats. Also made us pay 80 dollars for an access code we never used so that's fun.

Comment:

Professor Reynolds is a really cool guy but as a teacher he is horrible. This class is almost impossible to pass, he gives an outrageous amount of homework and does not go over the material enough. You are basically teaching yourself the whole class. Very unorganized. Highly do not recommend this teacher!!!!

Definitely WOULD NOT take this class again. His lectures were not so helpful and he expected us to just know what he was talking about. Someone would ask a question and he'd say he would go back to it if he had the time.... most of the time didn't even go back to the question and most of the class would be lost.

Great professor. Just be prepared to do tons of homework. Not enough time in the semester to go over everything thoroughly. He makes an effort to get to know you and build a relationship with you over the semester. Wish I could take him again for the next math.

Homework is 100% mandatory. You mainly learn on your own from the textbook, but if you have any questions, he will not only explain it to you, but the whole class as well.

John is an okay teacher. he doesn't really give any notes about the chapters in detail but he gives very few examples. He knows what he is doing most of the time but on the study guide for the chapter test he will get confused. if you are looking for a difficult math class i recommend him because you will have to learn 75% of this work on your own.

Mr. Reynolds is an excellent teacher. He will answer your questions and explain the concepts in an easy to understand manner. You need to prepare for his class (read over the material in the text, complete homework on time) to be successful, and he has high standards for his tests/quizzes/finals. He prepares you for your next course (V04).

I loved Reynolds class & took him two semesters in a row for intermediate algebra and college algebra. If you struggle with math you will probably need a tutor for the more challenging classes. Reynolds goes over hw in class, so my advice is to do your homework and make sure you ask about the problems that you need help with.

Professor Reynolds it's actually a nice guy. But he has us doing work on our own and never really explains the work that we're supposed to do. He has us reading a lot but never really spends time on material. Basically it's up to us to teach ourselves.

John was one of The most frustrating professors I have ever had. He was a nice man out of school but he was a terrible grader, terrible teacher on the material, and never was consistent. Most of my class passed because they taught themselves the material in the book who were already good at math. If you want to pass math, do not take him.

super friendly , very approachable . You have to pay attention in class to understand what he is saying , going to every class Is recommended but if you miss a few you wont be far behind. Always telling jokes , he tries to make sure everyone understands the math. I would definitely take another class with him.

This teacher was something else. He started out as what seemed an Okay guy but then he just started act act very rude. He was unclear explaining the material he wanted you to study and was extremely slow with grading tests. (one test took over a month to get back).I took his final and it was about 45 questions long and we only had two hours.

Did not do so well in this class. I did not understand the way he taught. I would go to the tutoring center everyday till closing and I still failed the class. My suggestion is if you're really good at math, then take it, if not, then choose another teacher

I can't say enough good things about Professor Reynolds! What an amazing and knowledgeable teacher. He wants to see his students succeed and makes his students work hard. He gives great and helpful lectures. Apply yourself to the subject and give him your best- you won't regret it.

I thoroughly enjoyed taking his class. I ended up with an A on the final and passed the class with an A. There are no surprises and homework is essential. Study for every chapter test and you'll do great.

He expects you to do your homework and show up for class. He thoroughly goes over tests and mid terms prior to taking them. If you pay attention and do what is expected from you, you will have no problem. I would take him for V01 if he were instructing it. Overall, Mr. Reynolds wants you to succeed and he will help you get there.

He is very jumpy and when he doesn't know how to explain something he gets mad. He can make you hate math.
