Professor Rose is an amazing lecturer and always has exciting and engaging lectures. He always gives in-depth feedback and wants his students to succeed. He will answer all questions thoroughly and without judgment. His lectures contain more information for the class than the books, so don't skip.

This man is the best. He is very peculiar but so endearing. He loves his students and history. But make no mistake he will rip your paper to shreds, but it's for your own benefit. I've become a better writer because of him and my love for history has only grown after taking his class

He's legit your grandpa. He really tries to make class interesting by engaging with the students, but usually his jokes go unnoticed. Which is kind of funny for us who are paying attention. He's so smart, and he just wants you to learn. Would recommend.

Professor Rose is a really really smart funny man. Overall i enjoyed the class, but i must admit that a lot of the reading was not necessary. I thought he was a nice teacher though, definitely would take another one of his classes.

Professor Rose is incredibly entertaining, and a walking history text book. Always willing to help outside of the classroom. A little ambiguous with what will be on exams, but once you get the hang of what he's looking for, it's easy to get an A. Attendance is a must, but you will never be bored in his class.

One of the worst professors I have ever had in my entire life. Incredibly unfair as a grader and the class is extremely boring. Socially inept and totally unwilling to accomodate or help his students. Very strange man.

Oh Professor Rose. While he is extremely intelligent (in the area of History), he lacks social decency. Class was interesting but he has no clue how to deal with real people living today and overall, IS NOT YOUR FRIEND. Class was alright overall, you could easily pass without purchasing the books.

Tons of reading but completing it all isn't necessary to do well. Fascinating lectures clear up everything. Exams are fairly general and he isn't the toughest grader. Incredibly knowledgeable, nice guy. Encourages speaking up and asking questions. Goes out of his way to clarify things.
