This class is not easy but not hard. The instructor is a little tough on your writing but she is extremely helpful.She answers email questions quickly and is very patient. I would definitely recommend her.

I am taking am online class and am putting a 100% effort into her class. And no matter what I turn in or how many hours I spend just on one disscussion I couldn't possibly get an A, EVER! She has not helped, even after emailing her. Good Luck to anyoe trying to make it through.

Absolutely horrendous! She expects you to be a creative writing major. I took this class online because of work and it was my only option. I put in countless hours of work into her essays and research papers only to receive C's. Quizzes are easy and you can take them as many times as needed though.

This teacher didn't have a very hard workload, but she gave us 3 days to watch a list of films and write the final exam. Terrible at explaining instructions. And when you ask her a question she doesn't fully answer the question. Only took this teacher because it was the only class with an empty online seat.

The ONLY reason I took this woman's class is because there were absolutely no other english classes available for the semester. It was my mistake for not checking this site sooner. She is the reason I will never take an online class again for as long as I live. She is not at all specific in her instructions. any late work gets a 0 no matter what.

Online class. This teacher was cool as hell. Easy to get along with. Assignments were a cake walk. Stickler on grammar - it's an english class. All you have to do is the discussion posts and a couple of essay papers. I whipped together my Final Exam Essay in 1.5 hours. Easy A.

I took her online class which seemed easy and awesome, and it was. but...she is crazy when it comes to your works cited. I should have gotten an A but I got a B because of one paper. She emails back but isn't very helpful. She tells you to look at her powerpoints. She seems annoyed with students.

By far one of the absolute best professors of my collegiate career thus far. I HIGHLY recommend Professor Neal, but you MUST be willing to put for immense effort and you will definitely be well prepared for ANY and ALL writing courses during your college career. EXCELLENT!

Strict on grading just about everything, but that's only in comparison to other teachers who are usually too easy. Could be better, could be worse. (its a community college) Get to class ON TIME or youll be marked ABSENT (even if youre 2 minutes late). When a hard copy is due the class day,if you are 2 min late, your paper is late and not accepted.

My entire class hated Prof Neal. She seems to have a nice personality until you have a problem, and then she has no sympathy. Calls out and disrespects students in class. Rejects papers if they're a minute late. Grades pretty tough, lots of work. On the plus side, she really knows literature, and you will get a good grade IF you write well.

I've taken professor Neal for both freshman comp courses and she's great. She's very helpful. All you have to do is approach her. The material is not difficult but you have to take her comments seriously and correct those mistakes in future work. She's not telling you what you did wrong for her health, you know. Submit everything on time!

I had her online for 8 weeks I don't recommend her for a flex-start. She grades pretty tough, and is VERY strict about deadlines (can't even be 1 min late!) Also make sure you cite properly she fails papers because of improper citations even if the paper is good. Be prepared to read a lot, write a lot, and do class discussions constantly on web ct.

Prof. Neal was awesome. Directions were extremely clear, feedback was helpful, and papers were returned within a couple of days. I took the 6 week summer class and never felt as if the workload was too harsh. I learned a lot and am taking her her ENC1102 class. Take her if you can, she is great. Strict, but great.
