If I had the choice to take any other prof but I couldn't. WOrse than what I expected. Never provides a clear format for our labs and makes us do twice the amount of labor for the same amount of work that could be done easily on a laptop. here's a hint: carbon copy

Seriously suggest her to retire soon. Never address my issues every time I've asked her a question. no clear grading criteria and never gives tests or quizzes back!

Professor Lamela needs to retire honestly. I took her over summer and her lectures were long monotonous and boring keeping in mind that we were doing like 2 chapters a day. Save your gpa she isnt worth taking.

Had to drop her lab because I didn't know what grade I was getting since she never handed back papers. She was very unclear on the format she wanted and would purposely make mistakes on her calculations to make sure you were paying attention. I think she meant well, but it's not worth the stress of taking her.

She can not project her voice over the hum of the room. She has not returned a single grsde to us. She doesnt go over the hw even thougg she assigns even problems with no answers in the book. She makes mistakes in calculations and expects us to notice even though weve never seen the material before. Dont take her even if your desperate

Do not recommend taking her class unless you really want to work for it. Many kids in my class dropped and the remaining kids mostly didnt know what was going on. She doesnt teach well and is so old I cant believe she isnt retired. You really have to do all the HW and use chegg to hopefully pass with your own knowledge Goodluck to all whom take her

Use chegg. Do All the homework, the quiz questions are photocopied from the book. Repeat all even questions because those are the only ones she really uses. Exam questions sometimes came from study guide. Our final was basically the study guides repeated. Boring lecturer, grades on if she likes you, makes many mistakes.

This professor does not make her students comfortable nor does she aide their confidence. She sometimes does not answer the question you ask and instead expects you to know everything yourself and there are stupid questions to her which I have experienced her rude comments which have lessened my confidence and willingness to learn in her class.

As many of the reviews say, she doesn't really teach. You need to study a lot on your own. She does send out notes, so look over those. If you want to do well on quizzes, do the homework even though she doesn't collect it. If you do the test reviews you'll do fine on the exams. I had her for physics 2 & 3. No idea how she grades, so beware of that.

She is HARD. I got a B since the WHOLE class was failing so she had to curve. Quizzes are based off HW questions from textbook, don't be fooled though, she gives so many problems, it's impossible to memorize them all. She is very difficult to understand too cause of her old age. Tests are based off nothing that she lectures, so expect to be lost.

Do. Not. Take. I don't care how badly you need this class, you wait until there is another professor for you to take it with. Her tests and quizzes are not based at all off of what she lectures on and she constantly makes mistakes on the board (sometimes on purpose, sometimes not). She won't correct herself when students tell her she's wrong too

You can't easily get an A even when you try. She purposely makes mistakes and expects you to find them and correct them. She tries to have a sense of humor, but when you're failing the class after getting A's in everything else, you can't find her funny. DON'T TAKE HER!!
