I aced her 4 week course, but many found it challenging. If you read the book (which is not a textbook!) it shouldn't be too hard. Go to her if you need help or have group issues. She's very fair, genuinely nice and helpful. Great professor!

Very good professor. If you pay attention and work hard, she will acknowledge this. I never wrote down an answer word-for-word on the test from the notes and I still got great grades. She just expects you to understand the concepts and apply them to the class and questions. You get out of this class the amount of time and thought you put into it.

Pam is a great teacher... if you are pursuing your doctorate. She is a career academic with little(no?) real world experience. She will demand one thing, then grade you down for something else. This leaves an odd feeling similar to being lied to or tricked. There is (purposefully?) no clarity; she can grade you well or poor with no accountability.

Warm, genuine, and truly knows what she's teaching. Class focused on workplace motivation, and Dr. Tierney managed to create a great class without a textbook! Concise, easy-to-follow lectures, clear assignment expectations. Big cumulative paper, but two smaller assignments were good prep for it. I'd take another class from her in a heartbeat.

This class has a lot of work, test are hard and require a lot of memorization. Its ridiculous because she expect you to memorize lists and phrases word for word and not concepts like most teachers. I think its a bit unfair to be honest. I would most likely not take this professor again

So, pretty much the entire course wraps around this book. The powerpoints do not have all the information, and typically utilizes one phrase information so you need to take notes. Our final was pushed back to dead week, when a ton of other top-level management class projects were due. WHY? The test is heavy on "EXACT WORDING". No final review day.

Very good professor. Smart and knows her stuff. She's not easy and you will need to show up to class as well as read the book, but you will learn a lot. A little curt at first, she was much nicer as the term went along and you can tell she wants students to do well. Also, do not try to BS her i.e cheat or plagarize, she will read right through you.

Pam is the best teacher I have had at PSU thus far. She makes the class interesting and applicable to real life situations. She gives you all the information that you need to be successful in her class - and if your stuck on an exam she will help you brainstorm to jog your memory. She really wants her students to learn and succeed!

She lectures, has group interactive cases in-class, and requires a group paper. Tests are MC, T/F, and heavy on essay. You need to attend every class to get the benefit of class discussions. She is very organized and detailed. Information is valuable and something you can use in the real world. Great Class.

Pam is extremely helpful and honestly cares about her students. She defines things clearly, but there is a lot of note taking and speaking in class is crucial for your grade. The majority of the tests are essay/short answer and she likes a lot of detail. It was an interesting class... but she talks the whole time. She wants everyone to do well.

Tough grading; three tests for 30% each, all *blind-graded* (SSN, not name) to avoid bias. Tough, but fair. Lecture is more important than text for Organizational Behavior class.

She offers little or no help or explanation on assignments. Ask her alot of questions. Most will get different answers so protect yourself. She is less than fair in her grading. Most get one grade below what they expect.
