Dr. Marti, was a great teacher and wanted every student to do well. Her tests are easy as long as you attend class and take good notes. She gives you a study guide and the same questions on the guide are on the test. NO SURPRISES. One paper due sound hard but its not.

This is for anthro majors only,she is really easy all HW is sent thru email, and her grading on it is easy. Basiclly pick an ethnic enclave and you will write on it through out the semester no test or final but alot of writing. She tends to let you out early and she can be sometimes boring, but she sweet and nice, also teaches one semester every ye

Dr. Marti is a very knowledgable individual and she's probably the only professor I've learned a lot from at Csun. Her lectures are very clear. Class is either lecture or video half of the time

Dr. Marti is so nice and extremely passionate about the subjects she lectures on. I enjoyed the class and as long as you go everyday and take notes you will get an A. I'm a biology major and don't have much time to devote to GE classes but I still managed to get an A. And the best part of the class is that there was no final.

She takes attendance randomly so make sure a friend can sign you in if you're absent. She hands out a review sheet at the beginning that lists all the topics to be covered in the final. I recommend this prof if you want an easy A. The only difficult assignment is the 10 page interview which is pretty simple if you don't wait until the last minute like me. Attendance is not mandatory but she takes attendance randomly. The prof is really nice and funny. I enjoyed this class but i didn't learn much..

I don't really care for this class. I was really interested at first but the professor is not that great. She was nice but the way she presented the material was very boring when it could've been a great class. The tests are ok, and there's one long paper. I would recommend this class if you are lost and don't know what else to take.

Great, sweet professor. Easy A class if you take notes and pay attention. No final, only 2 midterms. No homework only a 10minimum page term paper where you have to interview a female immigrant. Highly recommend her!

Really great teacher. You don't have to go to class, but if you miss one day, you're screwed because she goes over alot. Tests are fairly simple, she gives you a study guide and tells you exactly what you need to know. One midterm, final isn't cumulative, just a second midterm and a paper. Easy A.

She is such a great teacher. She gives you a guideline of what she'll go over b4 her midterm (which there are 2 of) & goes down that list in order. Don't miss class ever unless you have a trustable person to takes notes 4 you. But still, she'll randomly take attendence so just be there. Topics are interesting & we always have class discussions

Very easy as long as you come to class and take notes. Goes over the midterm questions before the test, no final just 2 midterms. 1 10 page paper but it's easy. Good class to take
