Out of 27 kids the first week, they were wise enough to drop the class..we had a total of about 14 in the end and only 2 passed. She knows her math but doesn't know how to explain. Thinking about asking a question? oh she will answer it but with an attitude and very rudely. Didn't even bother opening old homework online for us to study from..waste!

I really though that being good at math would help me pass but it did not. She is rude and doesn't care about the students. out of a class of 12 only two passed. Please look for another teacher.

Professor Benardo is a wonderful teacher. I took her for Math 1113. I was horrible at math in high school, and thought it was the most boring subject. But I got an A in her class! She gives 5 exams. No quizzes. She teaches through outlines related to the Chapter. She gives a project which is an easy A. TAKE HER! :]

Rude, and not interested in teaching students. She cares more about her own status. She does not like to help students and gets annoyed if you ask for help. Wish I could go to work and treat people horribly and keep my job. Would NOT take her if my life depended on it!

she is an excellent teacher.I took pre-calculus with her and it was great. I got an easy A. she gives a lot of reviews before the tests. but you always have to practice, it is the key point to pass the class easily.

You must attend class daily. There are weekly quizzes and only 3 tests during the semester. You must do well on these tests to do well in class. Homework is a must to understand material because she isn't always clear on concepts in class. She's not a bad professor as long as you're willing to work for your grade.

i wouldnt record you taking her class unless you consider yourself very good at math. she hardly knows how to teach math sections. she pretty much comes into class and reviews the current section,print an outline, & taking notes in that class is nearly impossible since she switches from the board to overhead paper allot.doesnt provide much help too

Well, i took her last semester, and she wasnt easy at all. almost all my classmates fail the class. There is a quiz every thursday and 3 test in the whole semester. quizes are hard and in order to pass you must study by your self and do all the text book problems. But she will drop 2 of your lower quizzes at the end of the semester.

Ms.Benardo's test are very hard, but her daily quizes are easy and helpful. Only take her if you are very good or plan to spend the whole day in the math lab. I got an A b/c I went to the math lab for help.

she is the best math teacher i ever came across in perimeter so far, the only thing is you have to be prepared to do quizzes although they are easy. i took her for pre- calc in a half semester class and she was very helpful. sheis old but really knows the stuff

She is the worst math teacher I have ever had! I got an "A" in the class, but only because I moved in to the math lab. If you must take her keep a tutor on retainer! She is obviously much more interested in furthering her career that teaching her students.

Nice lady w/ a good sense of humor. Extremely smart and knows what she's talking about, however she is not patient when students need clarification. Dosn't really seem to care if students understand the material until it's time to take a test.

Comment:

She's head of the math department and hard. Don't plan on being able to ask questions, she'll only answer them with a question, and make you feel stupid for asking in the first place. If at all possible, take the course with a different professor.
