Literally a monster. She was nice enough during the drop-add period so I stayed in the class...I was a fool.....I wish I could talk about everything wrong with her and her outdated, homophobic, sexist views but I don't have enough characters. Take Acting 2 with ANYONE else. There's a reason why everyone warns you about her and I should've listened.

Yes, I know a lot of people are put off by her obsession with chakras and her tendency to get sidetracked. However, I'd take her class again in a heartbeat. A wonderful director who gives enough feedback to help students grow as actors and become aware of their own personal "type." I think she's prepared me for success in this field.

Hated the class at first, then i thought it was alright. I don't agree with the way she has you score things, or her telling you that your ideas are wrong. She is helpful 1 on 1 but I kind of dreaded going to class everyday. She always uses the same plays and scenes year after year. And you don't use any newer material. Grading is unfair.

Complete flake. Her classes border on pseudo-religious-spiritual-mystical jargon that has no place in higher education (unless your a theology major). We would spend hours focusing on "energy balls" and "chakras." Also, she can be somewhat racially insensitive at times. Just agree, feign interest, do the busy-work, get an A.

If you want to be a professional actor take her for acting II. If you don't you will be cheating yourself. She is incredibly tough, but has the experience and knowledge to back it up. You will learn more about the art of acting in her class than any other you will take. If you don't want to be an actor .. this is not the right class for you.

Ok teacher. Her lectures come straight from the book, but goes off on tangents once in a while. If you don't read the book, but take crazy good notes from her lectures, study, you'll definitely pass easily. Do all the extra credit you can, it helps when tests come around. The TAs were pretty good, especially Kevin Chu and Marcus Thomas.

terrible teacher. she is not friendly and is not fair. if you plan on spending millions of hours to get what you think is alot of extra credit, you will never get it because this teacher sucks. if you need to take theater, don't take her class

She's a great teacher who is VERY willing to give you any help you seek. She will take time outside of the classroom to help you. I improved during the course. She cares about the progress you make with each scene. Be willing to put forth time and work hard, and you will do well.

THe teacher was very monotone, I studied alot and did the extra credit play in order to get a B in the class. The tests are incredibly hard, you have to remember every single detail, and it was just overall really annoying that I had to study harder for an elective then classes that really mattered. It wasn't really that hard. Take it if you want

Stupid useless class. THe plays were pretty cool, but she can't teach for anything and is INCREDIBLY boring. But she is very nice if you need something.

She takes a class that is supposedly "easy" and turns into something so unnecessarily complicated. This class really shouldn't be so hard. She reads word for word from the book and adds in her own bits of "knowledge" and stories...information, I might add, that is not on the test & not useful in any way. It just throws you off.

Judy is a nasty witch! She grades people she likes better than those she does not. She'll be nice to your face, then slap you with a poor grade. She's like honey gone sour and laced with arsenic. Too bad she's tenured.

regardless of these other comments, I found the class reasonable - i got an A. Go to class - read the book as she speaks b/c she teaches straight from it. Highlight what she says & write down any side notes. Study that material the night before & you should get an A by the end. I'd reccomend doing some extra credit - its easy & helps. 75% is an A!
