Jules is an amazing designer and very clearly knows what he is talking about with Industrial Design. His lectures/studio classes are very well organized and he gives exercises during his discussions so that as he is teaching you, you have the immediate opportunity to apply that newly learned knowledge. If you want a good grade you have to EARN IT!

Jules asks students individually what they like, what their goals are; based on which gives customized, realistic feedback to each student instead of imposing certain ideologies. Apart from that, funny, straightforward; doesn't take careless work; when he's there in class, his attention is all yours. Though not the best at replying emails.

Great guy. I seeked him out for thesis based on the positive experience i had with him one year earlier. I remember my first class with him; he surveyed the students what they like/didnt like about the program so far, but unlike most teachers who do this as protocol, jules did the opposite. He articulated our responses for his own understanding. A+

Jules was the best teacher I have ever had, he made my first year worth it, I don't think I would ahve stayed at OCAD without him and exciting, interesting teachers like him. And to the ass that thinks he wasn't good, your probably the one with the problem!! Go Jules!!
