the best prof by far. i think we have some people that cant handle a person with the body parts and like hers and intelligence. but she commands her presence. makes you learn. read and write for sure.

She is very easy but I had no idea so I learned on my own and honestly those who want to learn find their way. She is very nice and I recommend her if your the type of person who prefers to work alone and is kind of shy.

Easy class. Lectures are discussions and power point presentations. No homework assigned, just 8 quizzes to be done throughout the semester. Final is a paper, but you get the prompt months before its due. Straight forward and easy A as long as you put an effort

I took the online course and all she wanted us to do was read the text and take the quiz. There was no interaction with the students or her. The final exam kept changing format either she would allow one way or totally get rid of it (MLA vs APSA). Her e-mails were returned days later a sarcastic manner not helping the initial problem. DO NOT TAKE!

EASILY the worst professor I?ve ever encountered. Treated an on-campus class as an internet class, read directly from the textbook with little-to-no elaboration, grading scheme defies logic, and she had what I thought to be a sarcastic & mean-spirited attitude. I gained nothing from taking this course, and wish I had dropped when I had the chance.

AWFUL Professor, never knew what class she was in, came in hung over, talks about herself most of class The class is beyond easy. Don't email her, she will just tell you to drop out. WILL NOT talk to students that need help and gives short notice, less then 3 hours, on what days you have to be in class. Worst professor I have ever had. DO NOT TAKE!

The most ridiculous professor I've ever encountered. Put so much stress on us about our fall paper, then didn't even bother grading it because it was 'to much work.' Got irritated when I didn't agree with her, so she just ignored me for the rest of the semester. Haven't learned a thing. Don't ever take her classes, it's just a waste of money.

she couldn't answer a question when asked, just spoke in circles. i ended up having my history teacher answer my question for me. in class, she had the class reading sections of the book in groups, then presenting their section at the end of class (in other words, doing her whole job for her) i dropped.

Professor Alfaro is by far the best teacher around. I took her in spring for 2301, and I was lucky enough for her to fit me into her 2302 class for summer II. She is very helpful and professional. This is the teacher to take!!

Internet course with this teacher very challenging. She is very serious about writing your papers just the way she likes them. Doesn't like critism about her grading, but can be fair if approached with respect. I would not take another internet course with this instructor.

Best government teacher in Texas! Professor Alfaro was very professional and helpful all the time. Her lectures follow the text and she tells you what to study. What more could you ask for. Thanks for an awesome semester and I'll see you in summer II.
