AMAZING professor! she explains everything so well and starts with the basic so that you understand everything along the way. she does multiple problems of every question and she does not throw anything on the exams that we did not learn or practice. she is very fair and gives extra credit quizzes if you go to class you will succeed!

Started off lost but caught up pretty quick. Very fast talker and hard to understand, but the material isn't as hard as it first appears. She gets a bad first impression but she grows on you. Make sure you read the examples in the book and her examples become a lot more clear.

Do yourself a huge favor... if you happen to have the unfortunate luck of getting her as a professor, don't attend the class. Stay home and read the book, do the suggested problems and make sure you understand how to do the problems; she sure as hell isn't going to teach you how to do them.

I could have had a better experience for Calc II,The homework is collected every so often...There is usually a quiz at the end of the week,Her accent is difficult to understand in the beginning...Many people left with frowns at the end of the final... She is very willing to help if you attend regularly to class

GREAT teacher! She does a good job of explaining the concepts, and as long as you go to class and keep up with the homework you should have no problems getting at least a B in her class. And she is more than willing to help anyone that needs her help.

The material is capable of being understood by oneself, she's not that bad and gives satisfactory examples. The exams aren't bad but be sure to STUDY THE PRACTICE TESTS. Absolutely horrible professor! Lectures are pointless! You walk in intrigued hoping you'd learn something new, but leave baffled with unorganized notes filled with error. Definitely the worse professor on campus! Stay away if possible! NIU needs to lock her in her office with a research topic, because her teaching is beyond awful.

The only reason you'll lose pts in this class is because, she'll tell you to review one thing for the test, then something totally different ends up on the test. Her notes are completely disorganized and she rarely completes an example without it getting totally FUBARed. Unfortunately, this is only offered once a year (!), so I was SOL.

She is pretty strict like everyone else said but if you do the work you'll be fine. She gave me a lot of help outside of class and though she always doesn't come across as very friendly, she is very determined to have all of her students learn the material. Good luck in her class.

I took Linear Algebra with Professor Datta. She was very strict in class and kept a dominating presence. She reviewed material for quizzes in the ten minutes before the quiz started. Her exams are clear and elegant, challenging - nothing that can't be conquered if you do the homework. She expects a lot from her students and as a result of that you may feel that she is picking on you. In reality, she expects her students to be mature and take responsibility for their grade and understanding of the material.

This woman could barely speak English. On top of this her examples in class were very hard to follow. Since we had a department final and she is the worst teacher in the department our section did terrible.

This teacher was so horrible that I had to drop the class and switch from a B.S. to a B.A. VERY thick accent and repeatidly asks in her Apu-like tone "Do you follow?"
