Ignores office hours. Rude to students. Should not have a teaching job, or any job requiring him to interact with people.

Homework is not mandatory but he will hammer on you to do it anyway. Quizzes are taken directly from the homework, and are always pop quizzes. Book used on the homework. He is a tough grader on tests and that first test is rediculous. Grades on a curve. Almost discouraged questions at times. Tests are way harder than quizzes. Did teach clearly tho.

Overall a great professor, very nice guy. None of the homework was ever due, but there was a quiz each week that always matched one of the first few homework problems of the section. He talks about a lot of theory but it becomes clearer when he goes through examples. He makes reviews for each exam. Exams are straightforward and grading is fair.

One of the best math teacher I have had. He makes taking upper level math less intimidating. His exams are extremely straight forward. The key to passing his class is to go to class and do the exam review problems.

Wonderful guy, but does not know how to relay information. This is a class with elaborate problems. At least once per class, after spending ten minutes on a problem, he gets to the end and realizes he completely screwed up. BUT, never went back to rework it, just said what the answer SHOULD have been. Nobody listened to him after the second week.

Greg is AWESOME! I failed CALC III the first time around because my teacher was horrible. Greg knows what he is talking about and gives a ton of examples in class. His quizzes are homework problems so I would definitely suggest doing the homework. As long as you go to class and do the homework you will pass!

Hard class--he makes it easier by using hw questions on all of the tests and quizes. Easy if hw done and attendance maintained.

Hes a great teacher, and a fair and easy grader. He curves all of hte exams, drops two quizes, and drops your lowest score. Some stuff may be a bit tricky, but not too bad

Hated him, I'll be at NIU longer now because of him, four pages of notes a day, and I couldn't follow his subscripts and superscripts at all. Very unorganized. 4 question exams, 20hrs+ for one assignment, ask for help, his response, "I think you need to think about it some more".

Easy to understand. one of the few teachers that speaks english as a first language. His quizes are straight from the homework. The test are straight forward as well. you study and do the homework you get the grade. remember to show up to the quizes and he explains things simply. Lucky he does plenty of examples which is always nice.

This dude rocks: nothing like a middle-aged mathematical genius teaching a tough class while attempting (feebly) to quit smoking (and quit sweating). Great prof, though!

Another genius who will confuse you. Teaches difficult material to start with. You will learn a lot in his class. Not for the faint of heart.
