Comment:

Professor McCormick's lectures might just put you to sleep, but don't be fooled. She is an amazing woman and wants to see all of her students succeed. She will throw you a bone if needed and is ways willing to give extra credit. I would certainly take her again.

Comment:

A nice woman. Class with her was dreadful though. She spoke in a whisper during class and many students could not even hear their names for attendance. Her lectures do not correspond with the tests. Had to teach myself everything. A nice cooperative woman, but be prepared to work alone.

Probably one of the most monotone professors I've had. she talks very quietly and if you have her in the morning shell put u to sleep. but shes a total sweetheart and as long as u ask for help shell do whatever she can. she also never takes attendance. the material may seem complex but she makes it a pretty easy class

i had her for PSYC 172, and she was horrible. She would write a word on the whiteboard then describe it and when you looked in the book was a complete different definition. Id not recommend her at all, what she tested us on she did not even teach us. She talks to low. She cancelled class all the time and never wrote on ocean cruiser.

I am just posting to say that the professor is very good in my opinion. She only lectures, but includes the class in conversation. The topics are interesting and relate-able. If you need more help or don't like psych then maybe try someone else. I'm sure she'd assist anyone that asked though

Took an online class with her, it was easy and she was very helpful and got back to you very fast if you needed anything. There were group discussions, 2 group projects and a few papers. The due dates were all fair and gave you plenty of time to get the work done.

She's a great professor, but you have to pay attedntion and take notes. Also she is very soft spoken so you need to sit close to hear her. The test are not that bad. But you need to do great on your papers, thats huge part of your grade.

For Personality Theory she ran an interesting class. Lots of reading the book and reports but quite a few of the projects were made easier because they were so interesting. She's fair and nice and you will probably learn something in her class.

very nice lady. very quiet voice which she uses to get you to pay attention. no powerpoint slides which is great. videos of experiments, which are usually old, but interesting. Tests were multiple choice, plus a choice of 1 out of 3 essays for extra credit. several group projects. not the most dynamic prof, but you will learn a lot.

she is a nice woman, very sweet. but hard to stay focused during lectures. does not use powerpoint and her lectures are all over the place making it hard to understand. all tests are essay form, and she wants you to write a book for each test. got a A but had to work hard for it..

she is super sweet !!! I loved her class so much ! Yes she doesnt use power points and you have to pay alot of attention but if you read the chapters, take good notes and have motivation you will get an A ! She is very fair. She just talks the whole time. She is pretty boring and monotone. But as long as you take semi-decent notes you'll do fine. She gives out reviews for every test and drops your lowest test grad. Easy A if you pay a little attention.

I never took psychology before this, and I probably never will again. I dont enjoy it at all. She really is a nice woman, I just cant get myself to try in her class. I want to fall asleep when I'm there because she whispers. Very nice, but I wouldn't take her.

Honestly, I don't know what everyone else is talking about. Dr. McCormick is clear about everything in class, she does only grade on 3 exams and a final, however she drops the lowest test score and replaces it with a writing assignment average. If u just answer the questions to her assignments, you'll do fine. Final is EASY!!!!!! Good Professor

She is a nice teacher, however I do agree with the last posts about her tests. They covered alot of material all at once and you only had an hour to complete it and she takes a long time to grade assignments. Other than that she does give extra credit and allows you to choose 4 out of 6 assignments so you can pick what your better at. Ended w/an A.
