HARD NO Taking her is a huge mistake. Don't screw yourself. Her grading expectations are so over the top that its just plain stupid. I understand making a class hard but come on. Be reasonable. If you are up for a marathon then I hope you can make every detail perfect. Long shorty short, don't take her. Or if you do, expect to take the class twice

the grading is way to hard. so over the top. worked for 2-3 hrs on a test, just writing it, not the studying before hand just to get a 43%. Don't take unless you want to be nit picked for every single tiny thing that you dont do specifically how she wants. also so time consuming. type of person whos life is this class, she expected that from you

Ridiculously hard grader. 5-6 hrs on a paper to get 43% on it. Does silly stuff like 20% of a paper if you have 5 grammar or spelling mistakes. Really wish I had know how hard she grades before would not have taken her. Unless you have a deep love for her class and are dying to put all your time into it take someone else or prepare to suffer.

She's a great professor and cares about you but she does grade really hard. If you want an easy strategic mgt class take Lamb. Wheatley is great and has good lectures but she's a bit tough! I'm an A student and got mostly B's on her assignments

love her! Doesn't take attendance but should go for the notes she gives. During class will tell you whats on tests as she goes so you can mark important. Online simulation is hard but you get used to it and can do better. Some papers, easy. Test straight forward and easy. LOVE HER!!!!

Good teacher, "super duper" attitude and friendliness. Simulation is extremely easy and fun. Tests are fairly average, though occasionally it is difficult to apply the material presented to the test itself. Would take again.

Excellent lecturer, and flat-out tells you what will be on the test. Simulation is fun and very interesting. Great person, too --- invited everybody to her house for Thanksgiving if they had nowhere else to go, learned all our names immediately, and brought candy on most nights. A delightful class and a rare find: a prof who cares and can teach!

I hate her!! She gives random participation points so ppl yell out in class to answer a question and get these stupid points. The tests are nothing like u expect, and she proudly states at the beginning of the semester she doesn't give out many A's or B's. She should go back to the Northeast where she belongs!! Take the other prof!

Tests are easy and the simulation is insanely easy to win if you know anything about how to read financial reports. There are three papers and a group presentation. Be aware, you may want to ask her what she wants on the strategy and financial analyses. My paper on strategy analysis was outstanding...turns out she wanted performance analysis.

Really liked her. Funny, interesting and well prepared. I really got into the game, so I had fun in the class. Hated the case memos...seemed like a waste of time. Essay tests were difficult for me because sometimes I didn't understand what she was looking for. Work hard and get a good grade. Can't coast, but still a fun class.

Dr. Wheatley is real nice but she's a tough cookie, don't let exteriors fool you! The tests are real tough as are the quizzes. Make SURE you know the book inside and out AND that you pay attention in class. How well you play the sim. game isn't too important, make sure you do a good presentation though!!! Made an A by two points!! Gotta work hard!
