Comment:

Dr. Mendenhall is probably one of the best professors that I've taken at UTC. His in-class lectures were inspiring. This class was challenging, but very rewarding. There were several long papers you have to write, and he is a somewhat tough grader. You have to work for your grade, but if you get out of the class what you put into it.

I Normally don't write reviews for my teachers, but Dr. Mendenhall is an exceptional teacher. He really encourages you to think on your own, which you have to do in the real world. If you put in effort and engage you will do fine. If you appreciate good professors you will enjoy this class.

Comment:

An extremely interesting, engaging teacher. I do some work for this class, but it is not hard. He teaches you to think for yourself. A good example: our midterm was a take-home self-analysis paper. I wrote about 11-12 pages, but he gave us two weeks to do it and it did not require any research.

I hate management classes, but Dr. Mendenhall's class was awesome. Dr. M is an interesting guy--very insightful and thought-provoking. It was easy, but I learned more than any other management class. Take this class.

It's an interesting class. Takes a different approach to teaching. He encourages creativity over book smarts. Very personable.
